I was just about to comment about this! I'm biased being an EDM lover, but nah, that beat gives me the same feeling Doom's/Doom Eternal's music does. Non-stop thumping aggression, pushing you towards your next kill. Get lost in the murder trance 🤙🏼

Its a game to hyperventilate to...the music supercharges your adrenaline to match the appropriate play style. I enjoy a lot of hectic music myself, although not a particularly huge gabba fan...but it seems perfectly matched to me. Stardew Valley OST wouldn't work here. Everything has it's place. ❤

I do wonder that myself sometimes. Sadly the console space has been stagnant in terms of growth for the last 20 years. Mobile is where the money is, but of course for us geeky gamers we don't pay attention to those kinds of games.

@@walterroux291 That's not true though and it also shows an extreme misunderstanding of how the market works. Mobile is where the money is? Not at all. Some games might thrive there but if you oversaturate the market it's not going to work. It's like saying: "Fortnite is the most popular so let's all make Fortnite clones". That's not going to work. You can't compete. And besides, console and PC gaming is generally thriving. Sony had their best generation EVER in terms in terms of revenue.

If you include the switch in the console space that changes things I'm sure. But the AAA space Microsoft and Sony occupy is very similar in size as it was twenty years ago, which isn't a good thing, especially with costs ballooning and taking longer and longer to make. Gaming is healthy, I'm not saying otherwise. PC/Indie/Mobile and even Console's, but there has been a stagnation in the console space. I'm not the first to make that point so there must be some salience to it.

@@walterroux291 1. PS5 has been Sony's most profitable console generation ever. 2. That last thing about "stagnation" is just pure capitalism garbage. The idea that growth has to happen for a company to be successful is such a scam. Netflix made more money than the competition but their stocks still went down as they didn't grow as much, because obviously everyone and their grandma has Netflix. At the end of the day that doesn't mean anything. Companies still make money. The stock market bros have a little cry about it, but who cares about them. Gaming is doing fine. We've got mobile gaming, we've got consoles, we've got PCs, we've even got VR. And on those platforms we get tons of indies and AAA titles alike. Yeah, the AA space pretty much disappeared but that's making a slow comeback with indies that are able to push their budgets ever higher and with engines that are easy to work with. I'm just saying, let's not be so damn negative. There's tons to be happy about and this idea that everything has to move to mobile or whatever is just not helpful. It's just dystopian doom scrolling thoughts but it just takes a couple of minutes of research and you'll find that it doesn't matter. You can pretty much find the games you want anyway.

@@SilverEye91 I don't disagree with almost anything you've said. I hate the idea of permanent growth it's an insidious business idea that I think a lot of the gaming layoffs can be blamed to. My original comment just said three things, 1. My sometimes surprise Easy Allies generates enough to pay everyone and keep the studio lights on and 2. The gaming space a lot of us are focused on hasn't seen growth in the last two decades. And that 3. The space that has grown is Mobile.
