If back in 1996, mother bring a 6 yo child to Canada, and the mother have record of landing, would the child have another separate document of "record of landing" as well? are there any additional requirements to become official PR after receiving "record of landing"?
Due to an unfortunate situation that happened to my previously issued visa. They allowed my account to have the “priority appointment tool” enabled so I can schedule an early appointment for my visa. I used it and got a much earlier appointment. I went to the interview but they told me to go home and reschedule because my passport was not valid because it is missing a page. I have now gotten a new passport with a new number. They only allow an account one chance with the priority appointment tool so I cannot use the priority appointment tool any longer so my earliest date is in October 2026. If i make a new account with the new passport number, would I be able to get that enabled again?
Question: I do construction and I generally carry a utility knife in my car. Am I allowed to take a utility knife with a disposable blade into Canada? I aired on the side of caution last year and threw my utility knife away before going into Canada.

and its impossible to get into the states with a record when I was younger I got myself a trafficking charge and did some time and a armed robbery conviction did a few years for that and an no longer travel to the states its like they don't trust ex cons lol I thought everyone had a record of some kind

Hello there. An urgent query about this. After withdrawal of existing, when one is about to re-create/ resubmit the Express Entry profile, under the category Immigration and Citizenship Status/History of the form, it asks two questions: 1) Have you applied to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, Canada any time in the past? 2) Have you applied for express entry before? ... So to these questions - does the answer have to be a Yes or No? For context - I've not been lucky enough received a successful ITA (despite a 471 score). since last 11.5 months and my profile is about to expire in about 10 days. So do we reply : Yes I have applied to IRCC before + Yes, I have applied for Express Entry before ?? Not sure if they count submission of EE profile as an application - not getting a clear answer on this. And If someone says No, then won't they count the next application as a completely fresh one and then the person loses out on all the Age of my profile as they do look at how old the profile is in the tiebreak rule.
