It's a shame that most schools or colleges that teach art don't use graffiti as a curriculum. 😊😊 Could be fun and inspiring for anyone getting into art. 21:24
I really want one day to see you go full wildstyle on a piece. You know the drill... 3D letters, extensions, arrows and bits. It could be fun! Keep it up mate. ps : I'm joking for the 3D but you know what i mean. 😅
Cool canvas. Sounds like you were hiding from the enemy, or the rest of the house were sleeping. ;) That wax pencil detail is crazy good. Almost like micro pop art detail? Love it Best \m/
I notice you never opt for a blender marker, just preference or is there a reason? Dope work as always Cute. You have a great ability to accurately call shadow lines quick AF, something I envy it takes me a minute to see lighting on certain shapes.
I much prefer to blend using a lighter colour because I find I can get better blends that way. I used a blender when I first started using alcohol markers but it was a much more drawn out process. I'm not against using them. I still would if I needed to. I also never really vary my light source unless I really have to so I get used to where the shadows fall.
Love the smooth gradients , awesome composition. I was wondering what type of material are you using to paint on ? Is it canvas ? Or heavy weight mixed media board ?
Hip Hop n Graff were made for one another, Like Steak n Chips, Spag n Bol, Mac n Cheese.... I think im hungry 🤤 First class work mate, I'll check the video for the full works later. Stay Strong n Stay Fresh ✊
@@CUTEMKUltras I've spent so many days with the letter K. It's the first letter in my wife's name, so I've done a ton of them ;) Here in the states, we gotta be careful putting them together on a page though. Some real dickheads here who put them in triplicate.
Yo. Where do i even start? 14:27... Glad i sent you those 94's F'n brilliant piece. With your love of yellow, the pieces you did with the yellow and pink mash are all incredible. Always love the neck tats and the background figures kinda in the fade. Just beautiful stuff man. Lots of familiar pieces I've seen you do this year, and a couple I've never ever seen. All just 100 percent CUTE. The whips and bubbles... A+ pro level stuff. RIP HUSH! Beautiful piece in the beginning. Always loved everything you and Simon did together. Just great stuff all around. Best of luck with all of your commissions. Glad i found the time to watch this flip!!! Best to ya brother. GRAF4LIFE \m/
@@CUTEMKUltras that flip was crazy good. I got a surprise for you, but it's gonna take me a minute to button it all up. You're gonna like it. I know it. I know I do. \m/

A really beautiful book and hopefully Image re-issue this and the Tokyo Ghost artist proof edition. Really impressive how much Matteo Scalera fits into these 11x14 pages with his use of lighting and the amount of action he puts into his characters. I seem to recall an interview with him (or possibly someone else) where he talks about either after issue #1 or when the new colourist came in he reduced how much black he used and I guess left it more for the colourist to fill in and from memory he did just about all of Black Science with brush. The collected editions have a lot of extra content with original art and more process work so well worth picking up for anyone interested. Also his projects since Black Science ie King of Spies, One bad Day: Mr Freeze and Ambassadors and seeing him master his craft even further is a joy to look at.
