Timelapse - Using cheap markers on a graffiti blackbook piece 

I love that you lay down the secondary light source first. \m/ All permanent markers smell like a chemical factory. Just a point I think should be made? They'll give you a headache in more than one way. ;) Those are definitely better used with a blow pen. Super inexpensive and no worries if you use them up quickly. Because, with a blow pen, you certainly will. ;) I would suggest everybody take a look at Ohuhu alcohol/spirit markers if you want an economical marker that looks super pro when you lay them down. They are so inexpensive and really do the trick. A really good jumping of point for the beginners and a really good option for the pros to fill the gaps in color range. They also have a great choice of nibs. Fine, chisel, and brush. And, they are replaceable. Super easy to use, and again, very inexpensive. They also don't smell toxic. Well... Most don't. ;) Some colors, you're just stuck with a stink. They blend well. Even using the same marker. Lay it down, let it dry a bit, and go back in on top for a decent shading/blending effect. Super easy with excellent results. No matter the markers, always, always make swatches! Never trust the cap, or even the tip. Just take the time to do it so you can stay in the flow of your piece without having to screw around and waste your time trying to find " the one" again ;) As for the blow marker. I have searched and searched and only found one. I live in the US and it would've cost me over $50 US with shipping. Not a bad price considering you don't need anything besides your own breath to get it in the page. No loud compressors or hours of clean up. I ended up fashioning my own. I don't suggest this and would not force my enemy to try. It took a very long time to find something that worked most of the time. If you can't get your hands on one, I would suggest using a straw and a LOT of cheap permanent markers. Just hold the straw next to the tip and try your best. This WILL use up your markers very quickly because your essentially drying out the tips. A lot of old school writers doing black book work on a swap will just blow directly onto the markers. Big splashes to act as a quick background. This also destroys the markers very, very quickly. I think I've said too much already. Enough of that ;) If you don't have the coloring book yet, GET IT!!! ;) So much original art in one book. You just can't beat it. \m/ Good on you CUTE for another great demonstration.
