I’m tired of people saying these chips are not for gamers… they are not for professionals either… professionals jump straight to epyc or threadripper as it’s all about cost vs time and the extra cost is nothing compared to the time saved 24/7. It’s so frustrating, all these consumer level products should all be x3d with no other models
people still don't wanna understand the goal difference between Intel and AMD. AMD did again not combine gaming and rendering in one CPU like Intel it did since years/ generations the hate about Intel couldn't be real with the hybrid CPU's
My first GPU in my pc was the R9 290, top GPU from 2013 and I built it in 2020. It was a great card but did lack in Vram, heat and other aspects but pretty good for gaming in 1080p 60fps, in 2021 they cut driver support and knew that I had to upgrade the card soon as it could not keep up with new games I want to play( for example Halo infiinite could not run above 30fps as it did not support my drivers.). I did get some of the hacked drivers that you can get for the older series that uses the driver for the RX5700, then halo infinite ran at a smooth 60fps at medium. I finally upgraded to an RTX2080 a few months ago for about $160. It is great. I love this card and dont think I will upgrade soon due to prices and my steam backlog. I can play many games at 4k and any game at 1080p
That's the problem, a person does not know how much they will cost, or if they can get them when they do come out.. I'm wanting to get a MB and CPU now, but I see that Intel 13 and 14K are disintegrating. I'm wondering if it's the CPU or the MB's settings that they are using.
Since i play only on 1080P 60hz screen. My old gtx1080 still takes anything i throw at it and have headroom. Well even my laptop with 970m would be fire for most games if not for 3gb vram. Might upgrade i7 7700k for something newer but gpu? for games i play it handles all on ultra and not even sweating. But most new AAA games are not worth for me so no need to upgrade anyway. And me returning to older games, well it runs with passive cooling on them heh.
They have solid desks, kind a of pain to put together though since they're so heavy because of the motors, definitely helps to have some helping hands and save your back!
For those gamers, who tune their CPUs and RAM, 9600X might be an intersting choice. Judging by all leaked info, I expect 9600X with tuned RAM to be as fast as 7800X3D. So it might be a decent option for gamers. Especially when it will get cheaper, which happens pretty fast in case of AMD PC parts (except the only one part that never got cheap - 5800X3D).
Just replace my well served Ryzen 5 3600 with this chip and boy, it's given my PC a new lease of life and gaming is so much better now. Wish I got it sooner
It’s really not that surprising. Console graphics have been pretty stagnant for almost a decade. They have metered progress. Blessing in disguise if you ask me. Graphics have reached a level that don’t need further improvement (imo). Just focus on games.
Those few gamers spending $1000+ in a graphic card should wait for 9000X3D, for those using their computers for more than gaming it makes a lot of sense
No one really expected the 9000 non-x3D to beat the already existing x3D CPUs, or be on par with them. These are the normal CPUs which are expected to be faster than the older normal CPUs. Gamers are waiting for the 9000 x3D models which are to be released in a few months, beginning with the 9950 x3D and the 9900 x3D. The 9800 x3D will come even later, probably around CES in January or maybe even in Feb or March. These are the droids you are looking for.
I'm switching to AMD for sure, Intel have shown that they don't care about their customers, I'm not going to support corporations who only care about their shareholders.
Resolution has insignificant effect on CPU's. (It's not the one drawing the pixels) What makes you think CPU's can't already do that? Unless you mean badly optimized slop they call games these days. GPU's are lagging behind in potential like always.
With all the issues surrounding cpus recently, AMD burning motherboard, Intel degrading cpu, I think it’s best to wait for a full explanation as to why they delayed the launch, clearly it was rushed, and that’s not good for the consumer,
Let me also announce my chip without talking about the release date and pricing: Behold the *Amtel i7 9700X4D* with a *7 GHz boost frequency* and a *10 Core 16 Thread design with 4 E-Cores* . And did I forget to tell you? It has AI as well.
5:40 don't worry we all are getting messed up sometime and its clearly not your fault that their names for products are just so confusing like the ultra 9 core 285k or whatever it is called similar to AMD's ryzen 9 ai 370 or whatever its called its just terrible and it was made in purpose to confuse you since they just want money and they don't care what product you gonna buy they just want you to buy it like "don't ask questions just consume product and then get excited for next product" that's how it is sadly.
