I just got one of these helmets and I'm stunned how much I like it. The looks are great and and the shield is fabulous. And this recommendation is coming from a guy who has about 9 high quality helmets on his shelf.
Just picked up the 944 FST and the Heavy Duty Front Springs for my 03 Ultra - I do a lot of 2 Up cross continent riding. Exicited to experience the difference. thanks for your vids!
I like that setup. But here my question. I want to remove my batwing and have a roadkill nacelle. But have the gauges mounted on the bars Question is my SG is a 2012 how do we get around the fork lock so the bike can be started
what are you thoughts on this vs the full length jackpot? I am torn and well impatient. FM has the shorty in stock right now but not the full length and I plan on doing a LARGE purchase from them and dont know if impulse buying the shorty over full is a good idea I ride mostly 2.5k - 4k rpm and idk if the loss on the low end on this pipe vs the full length would even be noticeable or troublesome. I am currently stage 2 on a 30/30 with 2-1-2 jackpot header and S&S GNX slipons on a FM map but going to be buying the following for my 2023 Streeglide ST FM 128 10.75:1 big bore 5.5 injectors 55mm ported intake mani FM ac/dc air cleaner (dont like the screamin eagle one that came on my bike) evo industries compensator ramp rekluse clutch and billet basket baker attitude adjuster then either the shorty pipe or mid length can you tell a difference easily in power delivery from the mid length riot vs the full rtx or is it fairly negligible?
I have been thinkng of this for my older FXDL....I find it kind of top heavy....of course, I rode over 40 years on mostly rigid frames until a few years back... Back in the 80's I lowered a 75 Sportster for ny girlfriend back then....moved the shock mount back as per an Easy Rider tech tip....and made up new fender mounts (handy to have a bud with a chrome shop) and had to weld and shape washers on the rear fender to lift it enough to not get hit by the back tire on bumps. That very top heavy Sportster felt a lot more like an FX after the lowering.
hi i have the same exhaust on my Fxlrs 2020 stage 2 with a SE 462 cam. i had stage 2 done in march 2024. Since then my bike has been with HD because there struggling to tune my bike correctly. My bike is unrideable at slow speeds. bike just judders and it just wants to go. So in traffic its terrible. also back fires a lot every time the accelorator is released. Can i ask if u had ur bike tune by HD or DynoJET.?
the pipe is awesome, just had mine installed on my 2016 sg. took 10 weeks to get, no problems. pushing 119hp/122tq with my 107 big bore kit, mod heads. 55hpi tb and woods 777cams
Excellent instructions. I did try years ago with my custom 1200 HD sportster , try to jump off a running car. Not a good outcome, it cost me hundreds to have it fixed. Your channel is great and I subscribe now. Thanks for the tips.
damit! i just broke the basket by using the special tool to release the pressure plate...just staring at what just happened...turned the wrong part of the tool!!! WARNING for DYI!!!!!
If you leave the filler cap on before you pull the plug, the oil wont come gushing out and make a huge mess. Once plug is out then open up filler cap to vent. Most people doing these oil changes on the floor, only about 5” from floor to bottom of pan, not a lot of room with catch pan. The Derby cover screws are T-27. People stripping them are using T-25. Great video though.
These are bullshit dyno numbers. You’re not getting that out of that cam and a 114. Just trying to sell the same 2in1 exhaust. I’ll let you rebuild my bike and if I’m wrong, I’ll pay double.
Uhhh, no. Maybe for just a cam only and stock manifold/air cleaner. But this is Throttle body and Tunnel Ram as well. Try the same combo. HPI, D&D or Bassani would have same results.
@@Getloweredwhat manifold are you running? I’ve got a 55mm s&s ported and a teardrop air cleaner, woods cam and a 2-1 exhaust, Considering a tunnel ram and a different pipe/cam to get similar numbers as I don’t want to bore it
Would a clutch issue allow 1st and 3rd to engage but 2nd to spin? I wouldn't think so that sounds more to me like 2nd gear is gone. Trying to buy a sportster rn.
