I had seen a couple videos of yours a month or two ago and subscribed then. With the election coming up, I find myself heavily involved with political videos at this time and time doesn't allow for much else. I finally took a wander through a few of your videos and find it calming. I hope to continue making time for them until the election is over. ❤️🤍💙
I would have liked to have lived in the 1800's. I say that now, but it probably was a lot more complicated and time-consuming to accomplish every day tasks. I suppose you were used to it being that there weren't any modern-day conveniences. 🤷🏼
We visited an old mill in Wisconsin several years back. I think it might have been Beckman? It was beautiful there, and very educational. One think I shall not forget is that they had light bulbs still working that, if memory serves me right, were over 100 years old. It's a great time exploring historical places. Life seemed simpler and richer back then, somehow.
I'm thankful for the cool fronts prevailing in the summer, and the warm fronts that prevail in the winter. They make it more pleasant, especially on the energy bill!
A beautiful place! We rechristened it Angel's instead of devil's, way back in the late 70s. It was a great hike up the hills that day. I happened to be wearing pink high heels the day we all decided to stop there. They were no obstacle to some great hiking, though. lols! Wonderful to see you in my state! There are many mounds around my area. You might want to visit Koshgonong Mound Park. It's about 5 acreas and has 11 effigies, plus others on the adjacent golf course. It's by Fort Atkinson.
The flower's petals seem to have three petals on one side and two on the other side, with a sort of off balanced look. I find the imbalanced spacing of two to three to be a bit unusual. Most flower's petal arrangements that I notice seem pretty balanced and evenly spaced.
Pryce, you go to utterly beautiful places. Have you thought of taking gorgeous still shot photos? You could amass a very wonderful gallery! My favorite photography is with film. I believe that it picks up nuances of light digital cannot. Just my opinion, of course, shared by some others, too.
I would love to have a film camera! I actually do some photography as a hobby as I also own a Canon EOS 750D. More of that work is shared on my Facebook and Instagram.
@@prycedurnye9880 I was swimming in the area of Grand Island and it is unmistakable. Northern Lake Michigan doesn't smell like that. Just curious as to the causation, I recall the Lakes being very polluted back in the 1960's, BTW. Copper? Certain type of trees rotting in the water?
Hi Pryce! That water is so beautiful and energerized. It is putting off many negative ions into the air. It's pleasant and refreshing to breath in them in!
The sandhills are natural formations. Hoary Puccoons are nearly impossible to transplant to other ecosystems as it is very particular for where it inhabits.
@@prycedurnye9880 I looked them up to see if they are in Wisconsin. It said that they are in the Madison Wisconsin Arboretum. It may be too late to see them blooming this year, but I will have to try to see them next year. They are lovely.
I am a Christian. I have done lot's of studying from both perspectives. I was an atheist at one time. I believe that the earth is young, created by God. He created everything mature and ready to go. Much of what we see today came about from, or as a result of Noah's flood, and the tremendous, tremendous forces involved in it. I do enjoy you and your educational adventures, though. Where you go often seem like places with their own quiet mysteries and beauty. Thanks for taking us along!
I respect that. You could say that I just simply relay what is shared among various sources. I do appreciate hearing from both perspectives myself as well 😌
Nice video, dude, you’ve got a good voice for talkin bout rocks and nature in general! Is there any part of the Badlands where the volcanic ash is most obvious?
