Thanks for making the video! Quick question for you though. What is the max resolution the camera can record in? On BlackMagic’s website they say it’s a 4096x2160 sensor but in the recording formats it only lists 3840x2160. Can it record in the full 4096 resolution or is it stuck at the lower 3840?
hello sir ibrahim are you well? family too? I'm Thierry, we didn't speak a few weeks ago for information on my equipment that I wanted to buy, I received some of my equipment, too bad you're not near me, I would have come to pick you up for me help to assemble the TR160 MK4 RACING SIMULATOR chassis thank you very much
Ohh hi, I’m doing well along with my family. And Congratulations 🎈🎉🎊 . I would if help you out, those equipment are really heavy. They will last a life time
@@ibrahimgtsr great if you are all well :) thank you that's nice yes too bad you are far away to assemble it it's true it's super quality trak racer, you wouldn't have a link that shows how to assemble the chassis of a to z thank you very much
I drove the 3dRap for nearly 2 Years now on those pedals, First combined with the Original Elastomers then combining with a spring, which was the best Street car feel! You get a very destinct threshhold Point which you can tune in the software to be at around 80% breakforce. That way you have a very manageable muscle memory feel which feels very good for a Street car feel. If your focus is Race cars try a lighter spring to heavy spring combination as you will see over time that your brake performance is inconsistent due to elastomer relaxation under pressure, received by the loadcell. Also you have to get the Race Sim Engineering CSL Pedals Upgrade Kit V2 for Clutch and Throttle. It really feels amazing and gives those entry level LC Pedals a feel and adjustability which feels double the money.
used it on a recent trip to Alaska footage on my channel. if it came with internal cfast express it would be a huge upgrade. suggest you get a locking usb c cable and a hot shoe mount for the top. i combined with a suikui rh35 3.5 inch monitor and had a very nice ex small package.
That’s nice bud, I’m still trying to be confident behind the camera with a screen, any gimbal work with it flawless. I really didn’t thought about the usb locking, maybe because I’m a static shooter atm. So far I got hot shoe mount and 5.5 mount, it look totally off. I’m be might try your setup instead soon.
You need at least two. How else are you going to get footage of the g2 itself? Getting my first g2 next month, I will show it to you as soon as I have the second one 😂
Hey 👋 Looking good man! If I can give you a constructive criticism, try to cut it shorter, it helps and also, sound wise ( I’m a sound engineer) try to replace your gate by a Expender or simply don’t use any. It make your mic cut too much when you don’t talk. Keep up the good work!
Buy a usb hub and connect ssd plus rj45 ethernet. Then you can ftp your files from the ssd and control over the network Also look at alt cine, they have a cool back extension for 59$
@@ibrahimgtsr that is what I thought too. And for that price it is worth giving it a try before buying a cage. Still waiting for my G2 though. Do you know of the unicorn mft lens? The one that can be remote controlled without loosing light? For a reasonable price? If yes, please tell me 😎 looking to put one in a hard to reach place with a usb hub to connect SSD and network. Then ftp the files to the Nas. If I have a lens that I can control from a zoom demand or stem mini extreme.
It might need a handle. Man that what I want. You will need to look for an older model with fixed aperture. I found a Sony lens an 18-105 f4 Goss lens top of the line back in 2012 for 500 bucks. MFT is a new system to me, but I need a unicorn lens also. I have one tough angle I need to get also, unfortunately last I checked there are 900+
I actually did shoot cinematic footages, unfortunately the file was so large I didn’t had enough time to fit in the video, thanks for reminding me. I can actually make one using the footages I have, you’re the awesome 👏, I know what to do for the next one
It makes it easier to operate as a solo creator, It removes the cut portion in your edits if you're using multiple cameras. It is simpler to OBS in your hand without a PC, some functions are missing compared to OBS. Just FYI
Ok it’s suitable for static state video production, if video production was in dynamic situation use wireless transfer. Compare those cost carrying sdi cable setup 70m to 150m and same distance with wireless transfer. We have to operate camera we need atem mini right, if we are using sdi in & out vs wireless transfer cost and mobility? What’s your opinion
hello Mr Ahmed , super nice video thank you very much I live in Europe in Belgium I would like to get into simracing because I really like it I would like to buy equipment but I need advice is it possible? Thank you so much
@@ibrahimgtsr I will come back to you with the equipment that I would like to buy to put on this TR160 MK4 COURSE SIMULATOR simulator from Trak Racer thank you very much SIR Ahmed
@@ibrahimgtsr here is the equipment that I would like to buy little by little to install on the TR160 MK4 RACING SIMULATOR - there is the steering wheel with the fanatec clubsport racing wheel f1 base - the ClubSport V3 inverted pedals from fanatec - the ClubSport SQ V 1.5 controller from fanatec - the red and black saddle from trak racer for 328 euros - the support for 3 screens - the handbrake support on the left and right side for 25 euros from trak racer on their site - already with this equipment to start I would be happy but I don't know Mr Ahmed which wheelbase to choose and the pedal fixing kit? on the trak racer site it's complicated because there are several thank you very much
Looks good. How did you mount the camera in your car? The footage looks very smooth. Did you use a gimal on a small tripod? I have secured tripods to seats in the past but my footage was never this smooth. I have the original Micro but not the G2.
I'm thinking on buying a few of those cameras, but one thing is keeping me from getting them, and that is the autofocus. Do you get good /acceptable autofocus on the Black Magic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2? and which lens did you get?
Unfortunately there isn’t any autofocus future build in to the camera, you have to use a board to use an autofocus, or pull focus manually. For that you need a pacific lens with longer area of focus, to ease the workflow. I got 2 lenses Panasonic LUMIX G VARIO PZ 14-42mm Which is good but not great for talking head shot or anything else. Sigma 16mm F1.4 lens the best lens for price. More to come, more spending 😭.
Nice to seen this setup bro. Make it recording 60 fps in shutter speed at 200, bcuz most of the time your hands are in blurry when move or shake it around. Make it next video multi cam control with atem mini and recording on ext ssd each individual camera
Thanks I appreciate it. Never tried 60 fps yet let alone shutter speed 200. I'm a religious person when it comes to shutter speed always doubled what the FPS is only 🤣.
I just put together my TrakRacer Gig. I ordered the TR160S with Pedal option 2. I was curous if I made the right choice. Is there a way to put the accelerator pedal below and rest of (Brake and Clutch) inverted like real cars with the setup you have got ?
From the looks of it is the same plate I have, it will bolt on, so yes you can, you need a higher lags to support, if not Turn 180° bring it up higher and tilt it slightly, and drive with your foot on the floor. I will look into accessories tomorrow morning, and see what else you add.
I'm just not sure if It will have enough space for pedals to fit under, the seating position might get awkward, If it fails you get it as an accessory. trakracer.com/collections/addons/products/copy-of-hybrid-inverted-gt-formula-pedal-bracket-with-foot-rest-plate-and-pedal-plate
Just got another thought. You can buy per made pedals that sit up right like real car, the tent to be expensive thought The “clubsport pedals V3 inverted” is one
@@ibrahimgtsr thanks for the info. Just bought the TR160 rig and have the CSL V2 Elite pedals. Do you mind sharing the 3rd party parts I need to mount inverted?
