Welcome to my new improved RU-vid channel. My previous RU-vid channel was removed due to copyright infringement and I want to apologise to you all for any inconvenience caused. So I had to delete my existing Google account and then start over by creating a new one.
I would like to express my gratitude to and give credit to the RU-vid channels, production houses and television networks (TVNZ, MediaWorks and Sky Network Television) for the use of their videos.
In future, I will be posting a series of unforgettable gems onto my RU-vid channel (subject to copyright restrictions). I have an excellent knowledge of the New Zealand media landscape through television, despite the fact I was diagnosed with autism since the age of three.
Thank you.

Thanks so much for continuing to share these absolute golden nuggets! Would love to know what happened to The Radio Vault? They totally vanished almost overnight, - real tragedy.
About the same time, there was a rather creepy and surrealist continuity promo featuring a TV that plugs itself in as if a ghost did it, then a song plays with the refrain "2 is twice the fun". The promo ends with the TV exploding and the 2 logo zooming in. PS. The singer was uncredited, but I do remember the voice was kind of a Paul Young sound-alike.

The film had an approximate duration of 113 minutes (i.e. 1 hr, 53 mins) and the TVNZ screening, with fewer commercial breaks, was followed at 10.15pm by the US sitcom, Married... with Children.
@@PatrickTePouNZok I hope you can find some recordings of channel 2 close down from 1994 April-September they might be hard to find considering it was the year they went 24 hours just see if it’s on one of your channel 2 1994 tapes
@@classictellynzThanks very much, pal, although the logo for my dream television network (PTV Network New Zealand) was changed to include the Southern Cross constellation.
For marketing and promotional purposes I created a small pinup group known as the "PTV Network Mascots". I have been supporting the NZ pinup community over the past few years and using a myriad of the country's finest retro pinups as the 'faces' of my dream television network known as PTV Network New Zealand (Patrick Te Pou Broadcasting Limited), although it is only a fictional broadcaster and yet to become a reality. As a homage to the BBC's iconic Test Card F, their primary roles are to promote my television business through public appearances at special events and an array of promotional material such as television channel idents, start-up and closedown sequences, test cards, general merchandise (e.g. posters and calendars) and so on.
The Empire Strikes Back is a classic. I became a fan of Star Wars because of Empire Strikes Back. The movie premiered on British television on December 25th, 1988.
Gidday Patrick, this is totally off topic of the video but have you noticed that The Radio Vault youtube channel has randomly disappeared, their youtube channel, website and facebook page are gone. Do you know anything about this??
I don't know but despite The Radio Vault's efforts when it comes to digitising classic NZ TV and radio, everything was shut down. This includes its RU-vid channel and Facebook page.
