Wait, fans in the base are blowing directly into GPU fans blowing the opposite direction. When will GPU manufacturers start blowing their hot air UP instead of down?
Really good design! No gpu sagging! I would put mesh also to left side, make it wider for air cooling. It would be ideal PC case! Then the ai would flow from left to right for cpu and from front to right for gpu! And from bottom to right for psu!
imagine all that dust sucked from the bottom and blown right in to the 4090 gpu, clogged up 4090 radiators, gpu fans covered with dust and reducing their life span, love it, take my money
They used the bottom bracket screw to be free floating for ease of removal after the system is built. Yes you can use thumbscrews at the bottom but then you have to pull the bottom side plates off to get at said screw. They did think of it but for ease of use and because it harms not a damn thing, they used the screw as a peg instead.
There is one big reason i will only buy a strix like i did. It is the only 4080super to truely be able to get a 33% power gain uo to 420watts as techpowerup proved. So yes it may be 320 out of the box but its really 360 in performance mode even if it never hits that. But the 33% really opens it uo in the OC area. It can give you gains of up to 10fps extra over competitors so its like having a 4080ti lol. People can talk about asus customer srrvice all they want. But they still have there perks and its why its still the no1 brand for coolers capacitors, vrm and more. Lhckily they said they will work on the customer srrvice aspect and rma issues with charging on everything. If they can work that out its hard to beat them at anything.
1. how does this comapre to the phanteks xt pro ultra and Deepcool CH560 and which ones the best in your opinion among the 3 ? 2. I have a asus z690 prime p d4 , will it fit in either of the case ?
I think of this case like and inverse of that Phanteks NV7 case. I hope NZXT sells a separate sensor panel for this case that uses CAM. Really insight review as always.
Have this case on the way now - with 3 more 140 light wings to add to an Arctic Freezer 3 420 AIO - Just bought an Antec Performance 1 silent - but the metal mesh design creates some terrible turbulence noise with the fans - loudest case I have had in ages. Here is hoping this one is great!
since the include fans run so fast at lowest setting , would it make sense to to put argb fans in bottom with a radiator above them, so there is underglow and then put the included fan on top of that for a clean asthetic if that works and looks good? the front panel looks too bare in stock configuration, maybe fill that properly somehow and shoot a short or such of it?
This looks interesting... promising too! Try that front fan assembly with a voltage reducer a la Noctua, maybe? Plasticard to the rescue for the right panel. Having now watched through👍...This case has my Ronseal of approval too. Nice one, Tom.
Having PSU like that definately is the next meta. You can have 3 bottom fans with clean air and having them recessed like that looks very clean. I wish it had 420 radiator support in the roof and back connector motherboard support.
From a distance, it looks like it's made of some chunks of painted wooden shelf they ripped out of a mobile home built in 1970. Sorry, that's not very constructive. I don't see much of anything I like about it, but it's...functional enough. I do like white cases.
After months of frustrations with my i9 14900kf overheating, crashing during games and bsods, reading a million different solutions on the internet on tweaking the bios, this guide explained everything so clearly in each bios as the settings are quite confusing and frankly, overwhelming. Thank you
there is also a 420mm version what about cooling the intel 14900KS with that one ? i have now the corsair H170i capelix lcd from 2021 and the temp are ok but sometime it rocked from 38 to 86 degrade for 2 or 3 minutes and then it droped again to 38 a 41 degrades and stay like that for a time and then after a long time it start all over again. I also have contact robeytech he did aio test and in those test he also tell the phantaks glacier one 420 d30 was one of the bether aio's to cool the 14900KS
