I publish "Easy As" jewelry-making tutorials each week that will show you how to create stunning handmade jewelry you'll love, and your friends will adore.
Where were you when I first started making jewelry?! I love the way you show and describe the different processes you go through to make a piece of jewelry. I've been making different pieces off and on for my 3 grown daughters for about 20 years, and I still pick up some tips from you. I do have one question...What is in all those jars on the shelves in back of you that look like different jellies and jams? I assume that's how you store some, if not all, of your baubles. Can you give some ideas on storage for all the different types of things you use...beads, spacers, clasps, wires, tools, etc.?
Hi Carol, I have a question. So how do you know which side of the necklace to put the clasp on? Does it matter for right or left handed purchasers? I was just curious as I am left handed and it just popped up in my head as I was watching you add the clasp.
Hi Carol thank you for another beautiful piece and tutorial from you. I am a fairly new subscriber and a very novice bead crafter. Yours is the very best hands down clear and concise tutorial for loop making, I can now see where I have been going wrong. I have watched quite a few of your videos now and I am blown away at your creativity!! I have a question about the one step looper, if I have understood correctly every first end of the loop will create that little off cut. I imagine that would eventually add up to a lot of waste? I’m wondering if it would be possible to make your own jump rings from those off cuts or are they made from a different type of metal? With love and appreciation from one of your neighbours across the ditch 😊
Beautiful! I am a new beader. I started with bracelets, didn't know how to close them off and watched your video. Thank you for showiing us how to make these beautiful earrings!
Hi Carol, marvelous totorial, and beautiful, delicate jewelery - and matchy, matchy wich I love but you not so much, grinnn :) Thank you and have a nice weekend, Marion
Thank you! My daughter and I had been making jewelry for years but during the Covid epidemic, we started our online jewelry boutique. Your video was most informative . I love the Magical Crimp Tool. I will try to find one, along with the maical crimp tubes. You are a joy to watch and listen to - again thank you!!!😄
What a great tutorial! I have never had good luck with those and I am grateful you showed us several different ways to do it whether they are “textbook” or practical!😊
Thank you so much Sheila. I'm glad you found this one useful. I do try and help people with the things I struggled with when I started because I think they are probably universal.
Loved your design and the different type of beads used in this necklace. I’m new to beading and appreciate the way you explain all the steps you use to make a piece of jewelry.
Thank you so much, Stella. I'm so pleased that you found this one useful. You might find this video useful as well. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JbkWBBTpm-Q.htmlsi=UQ3asq6J1XZ5oZZ0
I have made earring holders from a couple of picture frames and fixed wire netting to them and my earring are much easier to hang from them and easier to see and just hang them on the wall
Really learned a lot about value contrast! 😮 This is something that I have done in my own way but not really understod -it just felt right and not too bland/pale as I’m a natural blonde ”summer” going on gray and white…! I bought a new pair of glasses this spring that are blue and darkbrown turtleshell -ish with gold sides and a turqoise little details on each side (flexible hinges). They adds a lot of contrast to my pale face! Thank you for your content! Bye from 🇸🇪
Thank you so much. I'm glad you found this useful. For me, contrast was the missing piece of the puzzle to making my outfits work. Once I learned about it, it changed everything.
This is the first beading tutorial I’ve watched until the end as the others have been full of waffle (from other people, not your videos!) & I’ve come away with knowledge I never had! I’m busy struggling away with my first project using just my husband’s Leatherman tool & my old necklaces 😅
