Thank you so much. Sometimes I wonder if people think I'm mad! Ha ha. I talk to the beads all the time. It's a bit of a process designing a necklace, but we get there in the end.
So many beads! We sure filled this kit to the brim. So glad to hear you are feeling better Carol. I love how this kit was a perfect match for your Spring/Summer color palette. Such a lovely design tutorial! Thank you for opening the kit and sharing your inspiration with us. xo Kristen
Thank you so much Kristen. It is always a pleasure. I absolutely loved this kit. I'm actually thinking I need to order more of the purple knobbly beads so I can make earrings. 😃
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. The matching scarf was unintentional as I didn't know what colour were in the pack. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it.
It's great to see your thought process. I get frustrated with myself when my original idea doesn't look right. I LOVE how you show how to take time to see how things lay and feel. Thank you!
Thank you so much Denise. Sometimes I wonder if people are interested in seeing me design but I've had lots of comments about that on this one. I really appreciate your feedback.
Love your channel. You’re so informative and your video timing is perfect for an adhd Artist (me). I scrolled through several sites, yours is the best. I can’t wait to explore more of your videos!
This was just what I needed! I am not alone trying to find the proper proportions - sizes of the beads that work for balance and primarily aesthetics! This helps me with my Style Maker question in the Discussion Forum!! Thanks, Carol!
Thank you Kari. Designing is always a challenge and sometimes it works out great and sometimes you have to take it apart and try again. It's about being brave enough to try things and if they don't work, don't be discouraged, just try again.
I love that your process, moving/changing, is very similar to how I do it. I’d love to get that bead subscription, but the cost of shipping to Canada is too costly. The way you say “aqua” is adorable. 😊
Thank you Marjorie. Ha ha. When we lived in Canada, you Canadians all thought it was weird. 😆I completely understand regarding the cost of shipping. Try living downunder - it's probably 3 times the price. I'm lucky enough that Soft Flex send them to me free of change in return for a video like this.
Hello Carol or Karen( I've written both names coz I was not that clear about your name) your video j6st popped up yesterday n you can't imagine how happy I was to to watch it coz I've been in search of one. Really enjoyed watching it. Like your esthetic sense 👌 👏 n the way you explain each n every step clearly. Thanks for sharing n looking forward to see more in future. Take care n God bless 🙌 🙏 ❤️
Thank you so much Diana. I left an Amazon link in the blog post to a similar product. You can find that here: www.affordablejewellerysupplies.co.nz/blogs/beading-projects/so-many-beads-was-this-the-best-design-choice-soft-flex-design-challenge
@@The_Stylish_Maker Saw pics where it's 4 Fibonacci figures in one, golden ratio. Very small lasercut it would be like texture. I guess.... patterns drawn first, and put around your wrist, would also show how it looks curved from different angles.
I enjoy watching you create! I make jewelry too and am always surprised to see that you don't use jump rings unless you want to change direction of the hang. May I ask, why is that? They help with keeping the dangles from kinking. Please elaborate. Thanks 😊
That's a good question. It really depends on what I'm creating. (I assume you mean between my components with loops on either end.) I do find that sometimes using a jump ring between the components can actually make them sit incorrectly. I don't really have the problem with things kinky much so I had never even thought about it. Sorry, I can't elaborate any further than that.
To be honest, I'm not sure. Soft Flex do ship to worldwide so you could purchase it directly from them. These beads came from a monthly subscription box. softflexcompany.com/
Rose Marie, the links are all located in the description box below the video. If you are watching on your phone, click the title and then the ...more. It will expand everything for you.
For this one I used the Soft Flex that came in the kit. Here's a link to the accompanying blog post which has links to everything I used. www.affordablejewellerysupplies.co.nz/blogs/beading-projects/so-many-beads-was-this-the-best-design-choice-soft-flex-design-challenge
