I play whatever I enjoy at the time, but mainly Competitive Pokemon VGC and Yugioh Master Duel. I hope to teach and learn as we play these amazing games. Any tips or suggestions are appreciated!
But why is Fiendsmith in there oml 😲😆 Good job my guy. Bystials with Duality is maybe even more underrated i heard. But dont tell anyone. 👀 Also this runs into many problems if you get ashed or something. I dont like that fact.
The point is to bait out ash/imperm/veiler. Since all of those cards stop centurion main combos dead in there tracks. If they don’t ash Emergency teleport then they get punished. If they do, then we can go full centurion combo with key hand traps gone. The fiend smith is there to set up king Caesar/chaos angel/Desiree in case our main line of plays gets interrupted. If you play centurion it’s easy to stop key plays, so this gives us more back up to playing through boards or setting up unstoppable boards.
@@Draeguy Well, Duality can do that as well and your effect may still get through. Also you can draw lots of cards and can easier play cards like decklockdown which would funny enough stop your combo as a example. You can even use your bystials to go into the level 6 in ed that can get rid of threats and whatnot. I suppose this is really good in the tcg cauz for some reason they never limit any cards like etele here which is absolutly insane since its not even once per turn.
@chaosinfernoid9008 exactly, This is more of a tcg deck. I’ve ran the Bystial variant as well, but this version seems to play well into established boards and 2/3 hand traps. Duality is great as well, but if they stop your first play to set up the duality play you kind of just pass turn. But, I can low key just take out 3 hand traps to add in 3 duality’s but it’ll be kind of tight in the extra deck since I run the fiend smith package
Hey bro thank you for the vid, I wanna try this out. I don’t have a 3rd ogre or belle what are some budget option to replace em. I thought of lancea for belle. Thank you again man I hope I can finally reach M1 😂
@@RoyalRareShua no problem bro, glad I can help! And d.d. Crow is a great replacement and puts in work versus the top decks. Infinite impermanence is also a good card to have as well as forbidden droplet. You’ll do fine, just adjust the deck as needed depending on what you see often
BUSTER BLADER TENPAI defeats META DECKS to enter MASTER RANK 1! From Gold to Master1 rank in 9 days! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_rANcWS-yRY.html
Thanks for the updated builds, &what rank did u take out daruma cannon out or was it more putting it back in the deck/taking it out every once in a while ?
In master rank 2/3 I took it out when I noticed I could have won without it and added droll. It’s a shit ton of yubel and ritual beast, and they contact fuse so it became a dead card. It’s as if I would side it out if I could. And I just started winning, so it’s definitely dependent on what the vibe/trend in your rank is.
@@Draeguy for sure, made it to master rank w regular going 2nd tenpai so seeing your builds for the buster blader version is nice cause Im not use to the ratios or anything so being able to go off yours is solid asf. its more fun in my opinion to. shuts down all the meta decks anyway plus its buster blader haha classic yugi/pharaoh card
Nice! And yeah I noticed the same thing, since it’s a best of one nobody seems to think they need to respect locks. Especially in the high rank, only forbidden droplet and called by the grave is the main deck checks.
He’ll fuxing yeah!! I’m glad I can assist you, the deck gets wins fast and is a menace in the current meta! In the master rank, don’t be afraid to make some changes to adjust to what you start seeing often.

Is Trap Tracks a big must in this deck? I have basically all the other cards for this except Trap Tracks. I remember pulling 2 in a selection pack like a year ago or something and reading it like "oh this shit trash" and dusted them lol
Lmao it’s not mandatory, I’ll say run buster whelp to make up the difference. The purpose of trap tracks is to essentially run 9 prologues to stop the opponent from playing, then win with tenpai on my turn. You can also run other hand traps to make up the difference
@@Draeguy Just built this last night, 1 win away from M5. Running your exact main deck except I have two Belles and Ogres and I put two Called By in. Are there any tips or tricks for preventing the Buster fusion from being destroyed by Memories effect if you can't kill right away?
@@Enyalus87 I would link the buster dragon into seals or s:p assuming I can’t get the win. And at that point they’ve ran out of resources (since we stopped them from playing or the Tenpai engine forced all there interactions/disruptions), so seals or s:p is still a win con till our next turn
@@Draeguy Thanks for the insight. Got one more question. Does Trap Trick behave the same as Trap Tracks for you? With Trap Trick I'm able to flip, banish a Prologue, set Prologue, activate Prologue, send Memories and Buster Blader, then chain Memories - boom, Blader and Buster Dragon lock. But Trap Tracks for me, I tribute a monster, set Prologue, activate Prologue, send Memories and Blader...And I only get the effect of Prologue, so Buster Dragon comes out onto the field. I can't use Memories at all. EDIT: It cost me my rank up game last night, and then in Solo mode did the same thing tonight. But then I cut the cards and added them back into the deck and its worked properly again so IDK if something bugged or what.
@Enyalus87 could be a bug. Tracks works exactly like Tricks, only difference being tracks has to pop a monster to activate. Also, remember if you use genroku effect to special from deck you can’t summon the buster fusion. Genroku locks you into dragons for the rest of the turn
I was able to make a version of Buster blader using the new Blue-Eyes cards thats able to lock down your opponents' monsters and theirs spells with Secret Village while being able to end on some pretty good disruption as well.
Yes I can wait to play the new blue eyes support with all the combinations they are capable of! I have about 10 variations of the deck that I’ll showcase soon enough! Would you be interested if I posted that content?
I prefer going first, but I don’t mind going second if they make me thanks to Tenpai otk going second. It’s a mind game going into game 2/3 in tcg, but on MD I rather go first
Awesome to hear, and I’m glad I can help!! It’s one of those decks that you have to get a feel for, then it’s off to the races! Haha as always, let me know if you have any questions
@@Draeguy thanks man! Yeah it’s finally coming along! I have a question actually, I remembered your side being in a way where you can play pure tenpai, when do you switch it like that when siding? When you know you are going second? Or when you get to choose and call going second?
If, I lock them game one most of the time they want to go first. knowing I run a ton of traps that can prevent them from playing, they rather attempt to set up thinking, “he doesn’t run any traps to stop me from playing turn 1”. That’s when I side out the trap package and go to work going second. That’s the logic assuming they’ve never seen me play.
@@Draeguy gotcha. Thats my thought process on it too. Just wanted to see your thoughts. Following that… saying that happens, what do you do when they play d barrier on you and you sided out the buster trap package?
@TheNbrizo seals pass with the hand traps sometimes are enough to buy you a turn. D barrier isn’t too much of a concern, just set up as much as possible.
You have to turn your “auto” to “on” to allow you to chain the effect on master duel. Don’t know why it’s like that, but it’s allot of small things like that I noticed that master duel does.
hey bro thanks for your previous answer i saw your regional vid as well now youre are a very cool guy my boi. So now you switched out Daruma completly? ohh so i dont have to craft it now haha. Also back to Triple Droll? woaah. Can i maybe swap out the 3rd Copies of the girls for 2 Crows since they are once per turn anyway? That should be fine right. Also i made small Kashtira engine was that a mistake now? with tzolkin and the Level 7 maybe im dumb.
The high tiers kept using the same decks so I had to adjust since it’s a best of one, Daruma is still great, but isn’t needed every game. Haha droll stops all the top decks including forcing Tenpai to use there quick play search early. And 3 dd crows for ghost Belle is fine, But Belle is mainly there to stop called by the grave. And the Kash engine is never bad, at worse they for the opponent to play weird or get punished. Let me know how the tzolkin package work for you, I might test it myself. No problem, you know I got you! ✊🏾
Thank you as always! And yeah I be wanting to speed it up so the duels are quicker, but if it’s at a slower speed it’s easier to see the plays I’m learning.
@@Draeguy I am on the fence for MD and TCG I had quietly picking up physical cards for Blue eyes support which I will be using with my Buster Blader but I had a previous deck that was Buster Blader Bystial that I am second guessing destroying to make this build now.
@Akunza may I ask why can’t you make both? Or, at the very least keep both deck list to play. Because depending on your locals meta the Bystial variant may be more viable. Or you can even side the bystial package in. The deck is affordable in real life, MD is where it gets crazy pricing wise. You at least get 3 months out of your investment on masterduel before they start making major hits to Tenpai. But, only if you really like the deck I’d say ball out.
@@Draeguy it was insane ! The new morganite card makes it inflict double damage when battle monsters so buster would one shot people due to piercing damage cause it also lets you atk monster twice then its gy eff you can banish search for Time tearing morganite and then you have to put a card on bottom of deck so you get your bricks out of your hand
@envy2hitman542 oh snap!!! That’s actually insane! Plus you get the extra normal summon which Tenpai loves (and that’s a trade off for Chandra SS from hand). That also means you cut all hand traps?
I wonder if the Chaos baby dragons engine and the red eyes package is better than tenpais cause they can eat hantraps or do you prefer tenpai for the otk potential ?
@Draeguy Thank you I will definitely check it out. But I have recently to Kash, Voiceless and Snake eyes if they go first. Mostly unable to draw the hand traps and board breakers I need to clear them out. I hate going second and drawing multiple copies of my Buster cards
What tier are you in, if you don’t mind me asking? Depending on your tier depends on how you should modify the deck based off what you see often. For example, book of eclipse or tactics may should main decked as well as droplet. Drawing bricks are unfortunately part of the gig, but pivoting is how you recover. Some games just aren’t winnable as well.
No problem at all! Haha long story short, since MD is best of one and so many Tenpai decks are rampant with there back row removal. Power traps like the buster pack is a OTK vs them, and cards like belle and crow gives me more real-estate in the meta. I prefer to go first, and I don’t need to break boards when my traps do that. If a Tenpai player makes a tenpai breaker deck goes first, you lose. I don’t like coin flips on who wins.
Buster Blader is my favorite deck to play but I wish Konami will give us more support I know the deck can have more potential but other than that I loved this video and congrats in your other video where you went undefeated
I agree, we need a few more pieces! Maybe even a level 4 buster blader card to give us more options or a field spell or something! And thank you, I’m just happy I can represent for a fantastic old strategy! 🙏🏾
Both trap tracks and trap tricks limits you to one trap on field per turn afterwards. I use it about the same amount as tricks. Setting the buster lock up to be used is sometimes the win condition so I can play on my turn with Tenpai.
It happens like that allot since they know I also play tenpai. You’ll get a bunch of free wins on master duel since it’s easier to just go to the next game if you don’t have the out. That’s why I try to time it in there choke points in there combos so they don’t have any resources left.
Enjoying this vid as always. One oiece of advice I'd give is making the overlays smaller and less of them. I think that'll clean up the overall presentation of the video. That'll Let the gameplay do the work and shine
In the fifth duel you had a second Buster Dragon but in the deck profile you just had one, would you recommend the second one? and if so what would/did you take out for it?
This is master duel so no tcg cards in this video unfortunately. But, now that a YCS is done, I can test against the new meta decks with the tcg version of the deck soon enough.
You’re welcome, and hopefully these multiple battles give you insight on the scenarios and hands. It’s truly about timing and knowing what your opponent choke points are.
@@Draeguy yeah that’s what I’m trying to figure out. The timing and their choke points. I feel like I’ve been timing to protect myself instead of hurting them
@TheNbrizo exactly! You don’t want to shot gun the lock asap, only when you know most there hand or know the next possible plays need to be stopped (choke point). Don’t worry about Seals getting outed, seals is only there to force infinite impermanence, called by or droplet to be used early. Not knowing you have an off switch waiting.
It does not, I just hate seeing that pop up constantly on masterduel. Lol it has been random times it came in clutch to chain block purrely’s from attaching there spells, or labrynth from setting a trap from deck. But overall, it’s useless While in grave for this variant of the deck.
It was a weird scenario, It might have been a glitch to be honest. That, or since I didn’t have a legal target (a monster that can be flipped facedown) it fizzled out.
@@Draeguy OK makes sense again thanks brother awesome duels and list probably was a glitch had a similar one where my transcendent was affected during main phase while I had sangen summoning out still new maybe needs fixes
I remember watching a video about the interaction between Sangen Summoning and Daruma Cannon. As long as 1 monster is flipped, then you send all even if Sangen Summoning is on the field. But since Transcendent Dragon was the only monster that would be able to flip and it was unaffected (and link monsters can't be flipped), Daruma Cannon could still be activated but it wouldn't do anything. For the second part of Daruma Cannon to activate (everything after the "Then" is mentioned), the beginning has to resolve (flipping at least 1 monster face down)
