Thanks Dan, I reckon thats the way to work through an injury...How did you manage to injure an intercostal...I know it happened to me in my thirties when my horse threw a hissy and me!...at first I thought I cracked a rib...stay safe amigo...woods
You have a good cadence on your bench press sets, and your reps are smooth. I've never been able to bench press much in that style, it's very challenging to me perhaps it's because of my wingspan. I'm gonna follow your progress because it seems like your program follows solid logic.
Nice energy rich workout feast!...sadly my Doc took me off creatine...I really notice the slower recovery time since...I wish the medical profession would catch up on sports medicine...atvb Dan...woods
@@liftingwithjesus3008 I agree but many phycicians see a rise in Creatin levels in your blood as an indication of kidney problems...Creatine suppliments raise that level and assume it causes kidney damage. anyways, I did'nt feel like getting into it with the Doc so I stopped using it.
@@liftingwithjesus3008 Creatinine levels in your blood are used by phycicians to check for kidney function...Taking Creatine suppliments raises those Creatinine levels and gives the appearance of abnormal kidney function...Creatinine is passed through the kidneys and expelled via the urine, many medical doctors have not caught up with sport science and cling to that belief...woods
Lol! Thanks Woods! I started wearing both elbow sleeves for certain exercises, and knee sleeves for squats a few years ago. What a huge difference! No aches or pains like before. Highly recommended for all us lifters a little past 29 😄
9 more weeks of preparation...awesome!...Hells Canyon is some rugged terrain and a bit different...maybe sneak in a hike if you find the time....Thats some great progress in only 3 weeks...twice a week should be no problem for you Dan...maybe go a bit lighter one of those days and concentrate on form...just a thought...God bless and stay safe...woods
@@liftingwithjesus3008 went from 240 to around 170 by interment fasting and walking/running 2 miles a day in the first year. I probably lost too much there for a while. The last almost 3 years I’m been lifting around 45 minutes everyday mostly 5 days a week sometimes 6 days. My diet usually is I don’t eat breakfast. I workout during my lunch hour. After I workout I have a protein shake. 2 scoops in whole milk. I take 2oz of ACV, D3, B12, creatine. I eat in the evening I usually have a steak, 3 eggs, and cottage cheese. I drink around a gallon of water and plain black coffee in the morning. I’ve put on muscle but I don’t think like I should have in this amount of time. I haven’t split my workouts like I should either.
Cool idea , we all need to get in better shape spiritually and physically. I have my bible review channel "Airik1111" which I haven't done vids for quite some time. I moved to doing my knife stuff more cause I needed a change. The bible review scene was getting toxic for me personally. I hope this will be a positive experience brother , actually it already looks that way for ya 👍
I'm on it brother!!!...I did bro splits for a couple years...but went back to my old routine of shoulders, arms, core and a mile run on monday, legs and core on wednesday, chest, back core and 2 mile run on friday...tues, thursday and Saturday are hike days and Sunday belongs to the Lord...woods
