Thank you! But the family of racoons in my backyard are not afraid of human voice or detest vinegar that I have been pouring like crazy. They just show up daily showing cute faces to me thinking that they are my pets. I guess I am giving up, they win.
It will eventually rot and become part of the compost in spring. But in winter it’s too cold for anything to break down so it becomes an insulation liner. Mid to end of autumn.
Awesome job! One thing I would do differently would be to use PVC panels with a density of 0.80 instead of plywood, but that's just me. Love it! Thanks for all the ideas.
Yes, so helpful, from your explanations to the visuals, I don't think you left anything out. I feel more confident to try this at home... right now it's got some electrical tape on it, and has for like 3 years. Not anymore, @lauracoteDIY!
I live in S texas and my rain barrel water has turned a little brown. Not sure if pigeon poop or what not. Ideas? Is there a good way to kill stuff so I can use it for vegetable gardening or is this considered unsafe?
I would use it in the gardens. My region gets an algae bloom once a year in summer and the pollen also turns the bin water yellow. I use it. If it comes from nature, bird poop and all, what is the difference in water form or natural? That’s my thinking anyway! If you’re concerned, do a test on a patch of your lawn or one potted plant etc! One of my bins is very dirty right now. I’m going to dilute it with hose water then pour it out!
I just noticed two are in my house 👀 They are living in my sunroom under these seats that are built into the walls 👀 And they'll loft them up and search through things 😂 I'm like how the fuck do I get them out??
These did not grow back as I had annual seeds however they could in a warmer region. I also live in a cold climate and these flowers do not last over winter. But you should look into planting a perennial vine that will grow every year! A chain fence is perfect for vine privacy!
Hi Laura, I know this video is several years old but for me it is brand new and an awesome idea. Thank you for the simplistic styling and it’s uniqueness of the sliding slats. I will continue to tune in for more ideas. Thanks a bunch! ✌🏾
I have tiny orange bugs on my zucchini plants and buttercup squash. and mild leaf damage small holes and some ends look chewed up. wonder what these are and if they are bad or good. Also what is your thoughts on using dawn soap and olive oil and water. does it work? or is neem oil worth it to get
why would anybody want to plant morning glories....they take over everwhere and are a bear to get rid of...you don't need screws and wire for them to climb, they stick to/connect to anything...i'll bet all the people who followed this video are now trying to get rid of this bindweed on their side of the fence and the neighbors....just sayin'
Thank you so much, Japanese beetles are killing me " I'm a FNG to gardening and finding out it not easy....😢 but now seeing your DIY this will well me with these bugs 🐛.
