4:14 I never really hated Amy, if anything i make fun of her & her actions. Maybe not on my Top 5 list of my favorites but still, i can see why but i have a free mindset or what i mean go either way the flow. If being annoying is what they are then alright. Absolutely. He nailed everything that made the early 2000's Sonic so beloved from the very beginning contrary to what many want you to believe, espacially compared to Ryan's subpar and very annoying try hard performance.

And now Amy Rose in Sonic Prime is a cardboard cut out character, she’s a shell of her old self, there’s basically no reason to even have her character in the sonic franchise anymore.
In my personal opinion, the Boost formula is the best of all the gameplay styles Sonic ever had. I know people have some complains about it, but I personally think this gameplay style fits Sonic perfectly, I love how satisfying it is to boost through the stages, and I love it's simplicity too. Now, I do understand that some games, like Forces, don't treat the formula well, but I think this can be fixed. And yes, Sonic Advance's version of the boost is very interesting, in fact the old Green Hill Paradise fan game uses it very well, and UnWiished's boost style can also be explored, the only thing I hope is that Sonic Team won't ditch the Boost mechanic entirely, I love this mechanic, I'll be very sad if it suddenly just disappears.
I never liked the Whole theres a lot of options but the player doesn't use them argument with the werehog I think its a very dumb way of saying you don't want to engage with the game on purpose like you have so many options in combat and you can do so many cool ass combos and style on your enemies but its a bad thing thats like saying FFXVI is bad and button mashy because you can beat the whole game with the normal combo or saying ultrakill is bad because you can beat the whole game with the charge pistol idk Its just not a stromg argument against the werehog when its the players fault for not even trying to engage further in its mechanics
