Sonic x Shadow generations look REALLY GOOD! I am So happy shadow the hedgehog is finally getting expanded! Although! I wish they reintroduce forgotten mechanics from past shadow games to make him interesting. Still! There are more mechanics that are forgotten too...

I love the lost world homing attack tbh, it feels really nice and satisfying, and the chao garden actually makes sa2 good

Sa2 would still be good without the chao garden, it just wouldn't be the masterpiece that it is

@@chaosspider5765 eh I just think the mech stages drag alot, mainly cuz I think the shooting gameplay isn’t fun not to say it can’t be, I just think it’s executed poorly, and I kinda wish there was a bit more openness to sonic and shadow levels. Plus the chao garden adds way more replay ability that isn’t just getting better ranks

@Doxthefox I can agree with the chao garden, while I do like a lot of the Eggman stages, I will agree that the Tails stages aren't the best. But the Sonic and Shadow levels are more open than you think. For example, you can find one-ups on top of the loops in Radical Highway.

Huh interesting that the Sonic Lost World multi-lock mode came back for Amy's gameplay in Frontiers! The nice change is that you yourself the player has to choose to use the multi-lock attack by holding down the homing attack button, it gives control to the player on choosing when they should use the attack!

i have another idea for a forgotten mechanic. time break. it was mainly used in sonic and the secret rings. but i believe it also made an appearance in sonic generations as an unlockable.

What about the charge auto homing from sa and sa2? Does that fall under the same thing as the focus attack? You could kinda direct what enemy you wanted to hit next. Also, what about the upgrades that you'd find in sa/sa2 stages?
