there is three separate questions oldest living Space Marine, oldest Space Marine to have lived, and most physically aged Space Marine while Bjorn the fell handed and some chaos Space Marines are the oldest two ever live and Commander Dante is the oldest current unassisted Space Marine it is Barabas Dantioch a loyalist iron Warrior who because of a xenos race got a rapidly aged by like 6 to 8 thousand years old biologically speaking making him the most physically aged Space Marine to have ever lived as you essentially stop physically aging when you are in the warp or you are a dreadnought
So- if we look at and include sidereal time displacement such as in the eye of terror, we then judge each astartes by their own experiential time line. Though arguable as cannon, there is an earlier book called the eye of terror, in which there is mention of marines within the eye having lived much longer than time outside the eye exists. Similar comments from somewhere in the night lord series. I recall the number of 50000 years being thrown around. Making the oldest marine some poor traitor deep in the eye of terror. But the oldest still living (not deathguard) actually named marine? Probably ol’abbie, the despoiler. Seeing as he was enlisted before the other originals like Ahriman. Joining chaos is like hitting drugs a bit too hard. When you start it is the best thing. You may even convince yourself I won't turn into a useless junkie. If the delusions go to far, you may even start thinking that life is all about smashing drugs. Of course, that is all bullshit and soon the drug is bending you over backwards to fuck you instead. It is beyond this point, that either one realizes they either quit or it is over. Fortunately, drug abuse is not as extreme as chaos. There is a chance to quit unlike chaos unless you are super lucky but this is 40k and getting lucky is super rare. Just my 2 cents on the matter after being sober for over a month. BTW I always thought that chaos still tears the souls of the departed to shred regardless of whether they were loyal to the Emperor, Atheist, or chaos. Perhaps, the chaosy ones get far worse treatment like the un-spiritstoned Eldar i.e. the Dark Eldar who get Slaanesh's special attention. I guess my question is except for a few individuals where gods like the Emperor or Cegorach intervene to claim a soul or exception beasts of psychic combat like Kaldo Drago who humiliated and banished Mortarion, Phoenix Lords, etc. -- the rest of the normie souls that end up in the warp get fucked up? Is my understanding right to anyone who knows more about the in-verse mechanics. If I am right, thats another grimdark moment, suddenly being a Tau is not so bad, of course if you are in the 40k verse.

There is techically one i don't know there name or how old they were before but there was some one who fought with a tzeech enemy that during the battle messed with time for the space marine and when they came out space marine won but they looked like a old man on his death bed in age and if i rember right video said it was estimated they were aged around 900 or more something years of course affter the battle dude was just to old to fight anymore past the end of the fight I don't know anything else so im assuming there still alive sure wasn't really living but they still were alive in age far longer then anyone expected of course due to there age now they couldn't actually fight any battle anymore
