Doctor I’m a subscriber n I think I u are the type of doctor I’m looking for.my daughter had been diagnosed of lupus .she is having steroid insertion once a month which is supposed to be 2x a month but we can’t afford the expenses plus tons of synthetic medication.I wanted to switch her treatment to take supplements instead of those medications I wonder if u can help her.thank n God Bless u
I've been wondering lately whether the Mind Gut Immunity diet could dovetail in with Bryan Johnson's Blueprint diet. Could I basically follow Blueprint for a couple months but integrate phytonutrient supplements and specific probiotics? What circles overlap in their Venn Diagram, I wonder. It would be fantastic if a "Mind Gut Blueprint" could be honed, which might evolve to become a standardized benchmark diet for resetting the immune system.
Over the last 3 years I've tried 3 different sodium channel blocking anti-seizure meds; I had blood tests which detected mild Lupus about 8 weeks after first getting the really bad lupus like symptoms (which started soon after starting medication and slowly got more noticeable which was mostly bleeding and swollen hands and red sensitive skin on my face and in my mouth, being sensitive to cuts, cramps in my legs and feet; I had my next blood test (which said no Lupus coagulation detected) 12 weeks later and the bleeding/swelling improved but the cramps got worse and I started to get muscle pains that moved around to several different parts of my body which also improved after about 3 weeks; I still get sudden muscle pains but it's just a little bit of pain I can ignore unless something happens that causes someone else to call an ambulance. My doctors, including a neurologist never give any advice when I ask what I could do to manage my condition, so I need to experiment with myself and see how things go if I cut down and stop taking the pills. My doctors never explain anything to me, even when they give a diagnosis, so, unfortunately I need to self diagnose as doctors have got things wrong too many times and they'll just agree what what previous doctors have said or not said and not give their own opinions.
After years of struggling with ulcerative colitis, I finally found relief with Planet Ayurveda. Their natural remedies have been incredibly effective in managing my symptoms. Thank you, Planet Ayurveda.
Have you also looked into ALA, alpha lipoic acid? I believe it is also present in green leafy veg and in high doses has been shown to dramatically reduce brain volume loss / atrophy in several research papers with MS. It acts as an antioxidant somewhat like Tecfidera I believe but perhaps a different mechanism.
Monday to Friday I have 1/3 steak and an egg at 1100 Kefir smoothie blended with banana at 1330 and 2/3 steak and 2 eggs at 1700. Only kefir and banana smoothie on Saturday. Anything on Sunday. I want to know what magical world you live in.. My husband suffered from Alzheimer's for 21 years and I was the caretaker. I was the one who had to take care of him even though I have lupus. I was diagnosed in 96 outsource look for other people to help. Yeah I brought in a babysitter from very prestigious home Care company who was case in my house to rob me.. idealistic bullshit
I have been tested for celiacs 3 times and came up negative. I still have lupus, fibromyalgia and a whole bunch of autoimmune diseases, including GI issues. Should I still avoid gluten??
Rituximab is the only medication to prevent lymphoma in Sjogrens desease. But they don't tell you that and prescribe Plaquenil but it does not cure Sjogren's at all. Most Rheumatologists are uneducated fools and have no clue what Sjogren's really is
I have not been diagnosed, but I am suspecting I might have MS. I certainly hope not but a lot of what you’re talking about with the gut Microbiome and digestion, etc. I definitely have a lot of classic and unique symptoms. If this is, I am going for some specific testing here soon I’ve been on like a 3 1/2 year journey just trying to find out what’s going on with me. Running every test you can think and everything‘s coming back normal for the most part, honestly, the only relief that I have found from my symptoms and has given me back a quality type of life is strict carnivore. I know everyone’s body is going to be different but for me personally I am on strict animal-based diet. I’m not doing dairy. I have a little bit of raw cheese that is made from unpasteurized milk here and there I seem to do just fine, I mostly do beef chicken cooked fish no sushi. I do a lot of eggs. I am having avocados some pickles, some sour Kraut, olives, etc. it’s animal based but just a few months ago my body couldn’t even tolerate these extra things. All I could tolerate was meat, so this obviously shows I’m making progressbecause a few months ago, it would send me to the hospital. Now I’m slowly incorporating more diverse foods and just experimenting but overall doing much better going carnivore animal based. It sounds crazy, but going carnivore literally saved my life. I’m not on any medication’s.
I came across Planet Ayurveda while searching for natural remedies. The positive reviews convinced me to give it a shot. currently, I am using Planet Ayurveda's Ulcerative Colitis Care Pack It made a huge difference for my Ulcerative Colitis
Can uncontrolled Crohn’s disease cause neurological problems, such as movement disorders, dizziness, headaches, slurred, speech, inability to work, constant movement, etc.?
Thank you Abigail for the kind words. Good luck in your current flare up. Please reach out if you want to discuss more in detail about ways I can help.
It is really common sense but your in-depth explanation of the science behind these factors has greatly helped me, my fiance has eczema and I am doing all the research I can to help her case. Thank you very much Dr. Chanu
For over 30 years, I've had severe Rheumatoid Arthritis ( RA). Likely took what drugs a Dr. prescribed. .My mother also had RA, died from related causes. At 43 years old, the Tier 1 drugs were not helping, only 10mg of prednisone could get me moving. That low dose was minimally effective , although 20 mg was needed if a flare up was fighting me. My decision to get off all the RA drugs, except prednisone, was opposed by my Rheumatologist, that didn't want to go natural or use homeopathy and food changes. She dismissed me from her services and office. In her dismissal letter she complained that i miss too😮 many appts . Excuse not açcurate that covid was happening and the Dr chose not to have video meetings. Anyhow, I was okay for not having any flare ups, until I got cut off any new prescriptions for prednisone. This sent the d 7:27 elicate balance into the hell realm of lung infection, anemia. It took seeing 6 doctors to find out that the pain I was experiencing was not Plueracy. It was from having a compression fracture of a vertebra.Swith to Lupus Drug induced Lupus 😢 Something I hadn't heard of until I did the research. A Hospitalist gave me a BP med Hydrolono that made the Lupus appear in a fury, while I was a back patient. Quickly the Moore Regional Hospital sent me home. Apparently, they were concerned about patient litigation if they admitted it was caused by them. Does anyone have a new list of all drugs that are known to induce LUPUS? Drs and Pharmacies need to have the list to keep patients safer.
I can’t believe the difference Planet Ayurveda’s products have made for my eczema. My skin is clearer, less itchy, and feels so much healthier. I highly recommend them.
I have cried so much from being told there no cure for Lupus. No cure. No cure. So I was given steroids, methotrexate, leflunomide, hydroquodrine and all I got back was loss of hair, weight gain, and high blood pressure.
I have trouble with high sodium foods. A salty lunch from a restaurant will make me want to sleep the whole afternoon. If I go to the bar, have a burger, fries, and two drinks, I can't work the rest of the day.
We had a friend on a feeding tube. The first ingredient was high fructose. No protein. He suffered so much before passing. Learning nutrition and all that this dr is teaching can save your life
