You pretty much have to run Crossout Designator to deal with a lot of those problem cards. I've also noticed that you heavily rely on DPE way to much in some of your games.
Newer deck can play around/thru/combo shifter. Shifter is going to be powercreep.and konami don't care about your outdated Rouge deck til they decide so.
It’s good against decks where the graveyard is a legitimate resource for follow up and main game play. I need 3 of that ulti with😂 Congrats to your son.
If you normal summon the stratos to search plasma fusion destiny locks you into dark only so i believe that play would be illegal but still a great deck overall
Praying you get shifter'd every match. Your point about it creating a toxic environment is salt. GY decks have dominated without much of a rebuttal for over a decade. Shifter is the way to check these decks before they set up their unbreakable board.
Bro, you can't play a Hero deck in this meta and get upset that Shifter exists. Either play a meta deck or don't complain. There are much more cancerous cards in this format than D Shifter
I would say look at the guy who topped his regional with primite HERO. It’s a reasonable take on what to do when you get shiftered and/or fuwaloss’d as you can make rank 4’s specific to the match up and you can use one of the primite cards to reveal a vanilla (lets say Neos) and negate a card like dark ruler or raigeki
as for me, i know my deck for Anaheim has a shifter issue so for the event i will be playing what i like to call punishment cards, for example, thrust and talents to punish shifter users as i will be playing techs that will allow me to control the flow of the game as my deck is has a punchers chance and will be playing techs to reset my grave under the shifter, for example, burial and other ideas as from my knowledge if they shotgun shifter its 1 of 2 things 1. their hand is cracked and will be geared to kill you the next turn or the 2. The hand is trash and you can play punishment cards like i intend to do as i don't need my grave i have defensive tools to beat otks like tempai as my anti-fire monster scales its stats and also i will be playing old school hand traps to stop otk pushes, for example, battle fader as yes sure you can impulse but on the very next attack I'm going to trigger it again and oh look the turns over then i make purgatrio and proceed to otk you the very next turn as tempai does not have many failsafe to bigger monsters
I say it again....the floodgate/lingering handtraps are the worst cards in ygo and need to go....they banned baron apollousa savage....boss monsters you have to resolve cards to get to....but leave in these hand traps that are turn skips that have so few outs to them. Literally draw the out format.
Nice duels and that Ulti! I just pick up chimera core since I like branded I may like this. Pick up rarity pump my droplets secret rares and a clean Ulti branded fusion. I hate shifter too
@@RogueHero A lot of these issues would have been fixed if Konami brings Gamma at least back to 2 copies, hopefully 3 because he is the ultimate turn 0 hand trap counter.
Another banger! In my opinion I really think Tenpai being able to abuse dominus impulse, shifter, fuwalos and purulia is broken. 4 of the best cards this format. Tenpai is undoubtably the best deck of this format.
Facts and to top it off the deck is extremely easy to pilot which is good for long tournaments because you don't have to overthink plays 24/ making yourself more tired.
@@RogueHero okay so basically this happens every year atleast twice with yugioh Konami drops baller ass decks then people say the meta is shit yada yada and yet still play the game but the take is imagine if they just took some the decks that are hit

How does this fix anything? Mulligan is a definite no because of how Konami designs cards. Set rotation also doesn't work because of the legacy archetypes that the game was built on like Blue-Eyes, Dark Magician and HERO. One "fix" Komoney should implement is making sure archetypes are better and most of their support can't be used by other decks. As a Harpie player I get tired of hearing randoms complaining about Feather Storm because Floo or some random Winged-Beast deck has access to the card even though it was designed specifically for Harpies.
I've played MTG, pokemon, digimon, One Piece, Flesh and Blood, and now yugioh.. It's definitely the most unfun TCG. Sucks because I actually liked the game as a kid. Now theres just too many broken cards and paragraphs of writing. It just makes it just a struggle for new players to want to come in and join, let alone master a deck and actually do good at locals. It's meta or nothing, no creativity in decks anymore.
