I'm not sure why the judge kept second-guessing the plaintiff daughter. It's silly that she kept quotating her words even though her mother already confirmed the details. There was a clear bias throughout the case that was meant to guilt-trip the daughter out of money she's rightfully owed to start her life post-pandemic. Had there been no family ties, she would've received the money without a senseless lecture.
I'm happy the daughter was awarded the full amount. She did everything she could as a minor to help her family through hard times while putting her own life on hold. It's baffling when people have unplanned children and act like it's a chore to raise them or that they are doing them a favor by doing the basic job of giving them a proper upbringing. It's ridiculous that the mother could gamble her money away each week, but couldn't run the household. Remarkably, the daughter had such good financial discipline despite the lack of examples in her environment.

About defendant Cammy Thompkins. She got engaged in 4 mounths after break up because she was in shock. She was in love with the plaintiff Brandon Simmons and wanted to grow old together. The break up hurt her so much that she was in shock and hung on to a friend who took advantage of her situation. If you don’t understand this then you have never be trully in love. It is a pity the honorable judge did not understand this.
I firmly believe modelling agencies look for too much they should be more open to more sizes men and women.. just my.opinion I do believe all sizes and shapes in men and women should be shown off
The mom was wrong parents always want to throw what they did. That is what you’re supposed to do until the kid is an adult . The daughter was still helping and being grateful

Ya'll coming down hard on the daughter, but she was 17 when she loaned that money that was saved up for her prom. Can you imagine the discipline she used to save up as a high schooler with a part time job? When you have nothing, to loan out 2000 is huge. She did this out of good faith because she knew her family needed the loan and she thought her mother would hold to her words. She was nice enough to wait a whole year, after the original date was postponed because of covid. Her mom made no attempts to pay her back in installments and decided on her own this was no longer a loan but a gift to the house. The ungrateful one here is the mother. Her daughter was paying for at least electricity and water. Two bills/utilities people need to survive and her mother acted like she contributed nothing. That girl not even allowed to legally smoke and drink yet, but she supposed to assume all responsibilties as an adult? If that mother needed more money she should have told her that now her daughter out of school and have a full time job she needs to contribute to a portion of the rent. Not take that girl money as her own and not credit her for the things she has done. Plus mother had the nerve to gamble when her money tight? That grown woman is ungrateful. In the real world you pay back loans and if you want more money from your tenant you have them sign a contract letting them know what they have to pay for the new year. The mother did none of that. When her mother start acting like an adult, then we can expect same from daughter. That child was forced to grow up too soon and had to join the workforce. Hopefully she can go to community college or something.

Nah, the defendant wild for grabbing a bat. I would have had the cops called on him too. Ya'll really out here treating these pets like they human. I'd have called 911 and let them deal with the dog before busting someone window out. Same with a kid in a car. Let professionals handle the matter. But if she loved her dog she should have taken him home first before getting stupid marshmallows so none of this mess happens.
