We are Corey and Christy - Welcome to our channel!
Along with our little dog Zoey we enjoy traveling and seeing new places. Most of the time we travel and camp with our 2018 2109S Rockwood Mini Lite, but occasionally we leave our camper behind and hit the open road or friendly skies and stay at hotels along the way! There are so many amazing places to see in this great country and we’re just getting started! Please follow along on our travels and hopefully we will excite you to check out some of the places we visit!!
In your opinion, which of the bike trails that start at the park is the best? Scenery, places to eat, historic sites, cute towns, things to do, etc. Just found your utube channel and subscribed, I live in Northwest Ohio, and I am enjoying your content, I’m in my fifties and own a e-bike and a camper. I will definitely look into staying here next spring. Thank You!
From the campground you can only go 2 different directions. If you go right there is only 2 little town. We didn’t drive into the town. If you go left it will take you to Xenia where you can find many places. Hope this helps. Thanks so much for watching!
Just found you guys! Indian lake is our “home” campground as well and Buckeye on the lake is our Thursday night dinner every time!! Hope to see you there sometime.
Welcome! As you can probably tell We love Indian Lake! 😄 Sounds like a great Thursday night! They have delicious salads also! Would love to see you there sometime! Thanks for watching!
WOW! 15 minute drive for you two and 20 for us. They let you drive that Chevy in that Ford campground?😂 Cindy and I will have to check it out. Thanks guys! Keep m coming 😁
@@TravelingBuckeyes planning on it next year, we are done for the year, not happy but be back at it next year. Stay safe you two, O I hope things are getting better up north, Indian Lake.
@@scotts.2706it’s to early to call it quits for the year lol. Hope next year is a good one for you! Indian Lake is doing well, we are amazed at the progress they have made.
That’s the biggest site I’ve ever seen!!!!!! The lack of shade would totally kill me lol! In the fall, I guess it wouldn’t be too bad though! Can’t wait to see y’all’s next adventure! - Madison McGuire
Lol, it was huge! And there is a decent amount of space between sites! We are hoping to stay again in the fall. We appreciate you so much, and couldn’t ask for a more loyal follower ! ❤️Thanks so much for watching!
@@TravelingBuckeyes It’d definitely be a perfect campground when all the trees are grown! How fun, definitely adding it to my fall camping bucket list! Thank you so so much! Y’all’s videos are always such a joy to watch and I look forward to each and every one of them!! You guys truly are the best RU-vidrs I’ve ever watched and you’re such amazing people. Thank you so much for sharing! ❤️
I love all of that shade! Well, I guess that you have to start somewhere. You would have thunk that they could have done this in a more wooded area, but then again, it’s harder to install the utilities.
We understand that they utilized a former farm field. They did plant trees so someday there will be shade 😂. We had a great weekend! Thanks for watching!
My go to is winton woods and East fork lake. I like to go there for first trip of the season to make sure everything is working fine before i ventrue out further away from home.
We're down at the overfill site, they offered us to come into the campground and opted out because we get privacy and space out here. We're saving up to start our adventures when the campground closes
Will be there for our second time this weekend 115n i believe :) was there years ago and my oldeat son walked into an electrical box on way to beach. Gonna try to remember which one it was for him while.up there but it has been 9 years
Thanks for the great video. The otters are my fav. Whitestar park in Gibsonburg Ohio is great little county park. I wish Ohio had more county and city parks.
You are so very welcome! We have heard good things about Whitestar, we may have to check it out one of these days. Totally agree we need more county & city parks! Thanks for watching!
Glad to be back! Love the big cats too! There were plenty of sites that are larger and would work great for your rig. We just happened to get one of the worst sites😂🤣. Happy camping and safe travels to you as well! And thanks for watching!
Hi 👋 You are so close to us … we live in Ft Wayne and only maybe 1 mile from your campground. Sorry you didn’t like it. It is a city campground and no not a lot of room. I have been to the Vera Bradley sale at the Coliseum many times. Not recently though. Glad you had fun and got some nice Vera bags. 😊 We just came across your channel. New sub today. Thx. (the campground is used a lot by vendors who come to the events at the Coliseum. At least you were certainly close to go to the Vera Bradley sale.) Our zoo is fun. We are going on Sunday.
We actually enjoyed the campground more than we thought we would. And it’s so nice to be close to so many things to do! We are so happy you came across our channel and hope you enjoy it! Thanks for watching!
Yes their zoo is pretty awsome. It's a great size. Not too big and not too small. It's not as gigantic and spread out as Columbus but there's tons to see and experience. We go there every year.
That is exactly what we thought! We would definitely drive over sometime just to visit the zoo! We also really like the Columbus Zoo. Thanks so much for watching!
I usually drive my wife to the Vera sale every year as well. We live a little in the Grand Lake St Mary's area so we are about an hour from Fort Wayne and go there fairly often. We have seen that campground many times but never stayed there. Looks like you two made a good time out of it. Safe travels on any future trips.
Corey has dropped we off at the sale once before😄 Our time at the campground turned out much better than we thought it would. We would stay again if heading to Fort Wayne.
Oh yeah if you want to go to another Campground that likes to jam you in and very close sights and very little to do there and that's Poor Farmers Campground. I advise not to go.
We have never had that problem at Poor Farmers. I guess it depends on what spot you get. We usually camp on the right side when you pull in. Thanks for watching!!!
Thanks for doing such awesome work on the videos that you do it's so nice to know what are the good campgrounds are and the fun things there is to do and go see.
Franke Park Zoo is extremely nice. We used to frequent it with our son. Wish I'd of known you were going to Fort Wayne as I could have suggested some things to do and see.
Ha ha, We were hoping she would see the video! It really was a pleasure meeting Cathy! Take care, Happy Camping and thanks so much for your support!!!!
