Stolen Landspeeder belongs in a grit deck, gives you something to run your grit unit into when your opponent wants to lane dodge you. Qi'ra and Han stole it in the Solo movie, so it probably was designed for her.
triple dark raid letting you search and play a firespray for 4 resources ( 3 for the card, 1 extra as its 5 discount ) then return it to hand to play it again in 2 turns is pretty good !
Re: Rival’s Fall I think these kinds of effects are incredibly necessary, even if initially they seem oppressive. Big Game Hunter in HS and Shang-Chi in Snap both are very healthy to their respective games and it’s good to see something similar here
Your comment started to make me feel better, but I think the Leader "auto-squash" is going to warp things in a negative way. I feel like this games importance to leaders makes it different and special. We shall see.
Lom might combo with another villain blue card, Calculated lethality, defeats something of cost 3 or less and you get xp tokens per upgrades they had. On a side note: The art for Calculated Lethality and the Phase 3 dark trooper is essentially the same. Same pose and everything, just different artists.
Triple Dark Raid bringing out readied Fett's Firespray for 4...Gotta be some other scary ships in that range that you can accelerate too, maybe villain aggro has a way now.
Triple Dark Raid in vehicle heavy Yellow palatine deck would be awesome! This gives a 2 cost discount on vehicles (and searches for it) versus a 1 cost discount with sneak attack , and it goes back to hand for later instead of discarding.
Stolen land speeder with Bossk is pretty good! You ping it twice without extra resources to get it, and it gives you a bounty target even if your opponent isn’t playing units for you to put bounties on.
Might be a hot take but I think rivals fall is kinda not great. 6 is a lot to ask for and while you can kill leaders you're trading down on any 5 turn flip stuff and even against 6 flip leaders the decks that wpuld probably play rivals fall will have to end up soft passing if they need to snipe the leader which is dangerous for pushing damage using your 6 resources and taking initiative Even against boba fett you tap out and go shields down and probably just get smashed.
Coruscant Dissident is going to go so fucking hard in hyperspace and especially hyperspace foil. And aanother art note, it was spoiled at the same time as Migs Mayfield. So you get the best piece of unit art spoiled with the absolute worst in the same drop. WTF?!?! Migs looks like a naked mole-rat! He looks like Chris Simpson's "Birthday Creature" that goes "toot"!
So isn't the stolen land speeder just an unkillable card? Unless you capture or bounce it it will always come back because of the bounty? Or am I misunderstanding the card? Cause if that's the case the card is sooo good
Rivals fall is awful. If you are playing against blue you may just never flip out your leader, it will just die. This kills so many leaders coming out. Poe is a great card. I don't think Qira will be that useful. Unless you have a large grit board, flipping her as a 4/4 is not great.
You're paying 6 to kill their leader and do nothing else that turn. Your opponent just deployed a leader and didn't spend resources. They can still play units. You still have to deal with those units. It's a good card but it's very slow unless you're winning the board which is rare for a control deck early game. People are blowing this card outta proportion
