The general concept of the game would hold me for months, even years, But for two reasons I'll never dare trying it: 1) no map kills me. I really need some kind of GPS in any game I play, and 2) PvP is always active. I hate playing against other players, in any game.
I wish someone would do a guide to Asgards Wrath 2 for dummies. I get so far as trying to get on the ravens back and the on screen help go by way to fast..Help
I have been playing Zenith Nexus since the start, this game was so much fun and entertaining, but at a certain point, it all gets repetitive, kill enemies get reward, repeat. Its like Blox Fruits in a way. The class customization is great, able to suit your playstyle of choice, but the weapon limitations are very high, If we had a custom weapon builder, with level limitations, that would be way cooler, the only way people can be unique is by choosing the Support class This game might shut down soon, and the way the game turned around is insane, the bad type, and me, my brother, and my friend all dont like that. This game is also very laggy, if there was optimizations, that would be amazing, I really want to play with my brother, but he can't even download it for being 8 GB, we were not able to play together because we were on a linked account, and now that we are on seperate accounts now, I want to play with him. This game might be hopeless, the amount of issues that are there make the game unplayable. The game feels single player because there are almost no players, and the community makes me feel left out because im Level 9, I really hope this game can be recovered, but maybe not because the production of updates has stopped. Also, when the player reaches 15, they get lost, thinking that the only way to level up, is by doing raids in the starter area, its terrible, the way it tries to tell the players where to go, its unspecific and unforgiving.
Ok about the tributes remember original rules , pre kiabas battle city tournament rules didn't require it and inside kiabas game you could summon whatever monster you wanted when you wanted if anyone remembers. And I think it would be cool if because of the mixed reality there are only avatars if you are playing against someone that isn't standing in front of you
Been playing this for hours, still have no idea how to know which relics to use when. Where does it tell you what an enemy is weak or strong against. It’s not in the bestiary which would be an obvious place. There’s a LOT of stuff in this game that’s never explained.
Not going to lie it's been a little while since I've logged in but it seems that they are at least making progress on the game since the last time I've checked
I used to play this game all the time but when they went on a banning spree and changed the game to what it is now. I stopped playing. If they continue the old main game they call a dlc now I would go back to it. But until then its not for me. Sad the game went that way had alot of promise and potential.
Dumb question, but when you do challenge, is the reward increase the same? Or when i increase the difficulty, will the rewards be even greater? I wanna know so that i dont waste so much time and effort for just as much.
You should reaally look into Eldramoor. Its being developed by ex Zenith & Orbus devs. Their goal is to be the golden standard and a proper push for the vrmmo market. (Not to be the best, like Zenith's was.)
Many former players claim they would come back and support monetization efforts for TLC. Granted the numbers might not be significant enough to turn things around but it would be nice to see Ramen at least test the waters.
2:46 Not when creature catching, but it's annoying when cooking. If you try to grab a knob on a pot, you summon a grenade. I have to chuck random grenades everywhere when cooking so I can operate the knobs on cooldown.
I'm a new time player here. I'm actually hopeful there's a recovery. Zenith is still the best VRMMO out there. Even if the devs are going in the wrong direction, investment is good.
I would be more hopeful if they didn't flat out cancle the development of the MMO side of the game. Barring that statement I would still cover a lot of content and just basically tell people to wait until they come out with the next part of the game. However unfortunately because they've decided to stop developing on the MMO version no matter how good it is right now it will never get any better. Sad because I really like this game and a lot of the work that went into it
No it wasn't. Lol. It was never going to be anything but a little project by a few people. MMO is used so loosely now that it's lost all it's meaning. $35 million is hilarious.
There are many problems with Zenith - choosing Meta Quest 2 limited the graphics (potato) so that the game looks way worse than the original WoW did back in 2004. Combat is boring typical of old school MMOs. I think MMOs on VR are destinated to fail if they continue trying to be 'traditional flat gaming' mmos. I think extraction shooters w/ MMO elements like Helldivers 2 are the future of MMO's on VR. Why? Because you can have HIGH level of graphics and HIGH level of interaction with the environments while also having the MMO directions changing up the game offering a sense of comradery between players without having all players in the same 'instance' at the same time. It is also WAY more affordable to do instanced MMOs (like the original dreamcast fantasy star online). There is a helldivers 2 like game on PCVR but I haven't tried it. Right now I am really into Breachers on PSVR2. If countractors showdown comes out on PSVR2, I will probably jump onto that.
The sad thing is this game is totally fixable! It's just will the devs do what the community wants and will the players even come back after what they did do the game? 🤷🏻♂️
Games still seems to be active, they had another update a month ago, personally I bought it in a Humble Bundle so got it cheap but only played it for a couple of months and got bored with it!
It's true that infinite Realms is receiving updates and I see regular players on that side of the game the MMO side of the game seems to be completely dead which is very unfortunate
Subscription model is always the best for MMORPGs. It aligns the developers goals with the players. Cosmetic shop is not that great even though its profitable, it incentivizes the best armor in the shop. In an MMO earning looks is everything.
Yes man that's exactly one of the problems I've been trying to race with them changing this game is that they've been advertising it as an MMO for so long that people are still buying it under the pretense that they're going to be getting to play an MMO Style game which they will in an empty game that will receive no more updates which sucks I really think they should have just added infinite Realms to the MMO side of the game but who knows what could have helped this game
main problems on zenith , like you noticed, after shitshow lvl scaling update, it just too hard , zenight need to lower game difficulty a lot, not long ago i jumped in zenith and did die for two 10 lvl lower mobs , this is just stupid, i know soo many peoples who stop playing after 7-10 lvl because combat is hard, unrewarding and simply draining, same for quest, you take quest ant it say " kill 10 mobs" and i know it will take like 15 min to get pinch of xp doing more work then i do in my real work ...
From the get go, I was always upset at the lack of class options. I didn't like either class until the release of the cyberninja, and I didn't like that class either. Even if the classes seemed much more bland in Ilysia, I was still happy with the level of customization I had to make a character how I wanted playstyle wise. I don't feel like Geographically, the game was designed well either. The fact that they made a whole new starter zone segregated from the rest of the map was an additional oof. There were so many secondary skills and hobby stuff I wanted to see expanded past the second starting zone, that just never did. TBH, when I think of a perfect MMO in VR at this point, I think of more a Runescape of VR that is focused on crafting and stuff like a much bigger Township Tale but with an actual world and the capability to support more players. No open world house building though, even desktop mmos seem to mess that up. I just want an actual interesting world to explore with friends, but it feels like many VRMMOs are failing the most basic of stuff. The world is uninteresting, they try to add a mediocre mainquest, then abandon it, etc. VRMMO developers need to stop trying to reinvent the wheel. Make an early 2000's era MMO but in VR and they will be rolling in money. Anything else is extra.
The core gameplay loop of Zenith was boring. The enemies and combat in general was not fun, and there was basically nothing appealing or fun to do with the open world. MMO's require insanely massive budgets with large teams, but the VR market isn't big enough to support it, regardless of the monetization options.
