while standing up you find the line of aim right, then you watch at the cueball then object ball and then walk in and get down. so from standing position to getting down how many times do you flick your eyes to white or object, and until your bridge hand hits the cushion, which ball you look, do you have to lock to either white object ball as you are getting down? tnx
I'm a recreational player who plays with mates here and there .......I practiced the other day for 10 min where I just didn't pay much time and attention and just got down and went for shots very quickly.....and I potted so.much better......why is that ...are we putting too.muchnpressure on ourselves and building doubt by spending too.much time on a shot ? I was amazed and googled it a found this
Years ago I shot tournament archery. The success of consistent accuracy in shooting has everything to do with check points in your form and follow through in shots. Your video is the first to reference placing the cue tip close to the cue ball and the cue shaft in line with the shot line before lowering the chest to the cue shaft . Also having the cue in contact with the chest(check point) has started happening in my natural practice and I find it to be comfortable and reassuring when I do it since it also puts my elbow directly below my shoulder. In this video you have dome the best job of defining a system that assure the check points of form that will give the shooter repeatability in their shooting process. I am now anxious to learn your point a view regarding the aiming process. I expect that you will emphasise judgement and feel over some systematic geometric approach. If this proves to be the case then I have learned to agree.
dont know why but as soon as i get down the butt of the cue is always offline towards left side. i bridge down my body towards the cue and the grip , but some how when i get down my butt of the cue is always always offline how to hold the grip hand on line of aim while standing and until down?
what is the way to determine the angle of the bridge hand? i think as soon as the bridge hand touches the cloth i think i turn abit too much the bridge hand to the right, which causes alignment issue, i have tried to slide through my bridge hand towards the line of aim as hand touches the cloth , but i still turn my bridge hand to right and it causes huge alignment issue. is there a best practice to find the best bridge angle? example: i heard the middle finger should be pointing towards object ball which i am not sure if its true , but i am looking for something to determine the correct bridge hand angle? thank you very much in advance
stance related question? does the leading leg has to have angle ? i am not talking about the foot but the entire leg , i know some players have straight and some has bent legs , but my question is about the leg angle , does it have to be vertical straight or or like ladder when leaning to a wall? im confused thank you very much in advance
Four of us are beginners and taking your instructions seriously. We are aiming high and would be a national champion in three years time. Thanks to you as always. .
Please Reply as i deliver the cue , the cue tip goes to the left i have tried, different stances, i walk online, put the cue and bring chest to cue. the only thing i am suspecting is my bridge arm is always bent Do you know why the cue tip goes to left as i deliver thank you
Hi hope you are doing well. I have to see you in video recording because it could be few reasons. Please sent me your video +37062089254. Most likely it is related with folllow through length and upper body positioning.
I have been the best snooker and billiard player at 1994 in Shan state, Myanmar 🇲🇲. It took me one and half year to become the best player. I started learning billiard for 6 months. After that started playing snooker for a year. Then I stop. No one couldn't beat me. I always play with betting. Those time we only play 6 red ball rank. We didn't have good cue. Most players can clear the table. It's very often. But at that time no tournament in Myanmar. Most of Shan state player know me well until today. That's about what I proud myself. 😄
I can't believe your advice...it's unsporting behaviour to walk around the table and slow it down. play your own game and natural pace and respect your opponent. the most important thing is to be in your zone. find whatever it is to get there. for me it's relaxing classical music for you it's meditation. everyone has their own way. if you are in the zone your fears and inhibitions disappear. don't beat yourself.
I would stay down every shot even before CB hitting the OB and where OB is going as feedback correction to my instinct. Also important not just potting a ball but is it as per my expected path of potting.
