Defiant avoid is almost never useful imo. Your dodge tanks can’t rely on defiant avoid because they want to be at 0 avoid at all times. On non dodge tanks it’s unreliable. Getting hit as a dodge tank is unreliable. It’s super niche.
Personally, how I would fix the class is by getting rid of black magic crit and instead give it a unique skill. The unique skill will work like this. Any damage that the unit deals will be based on the unit’s magic stat (whether they actually use magic, or use a sword or a spear or whatever, damage is calculated off magic stat), and depending on what weapon they use, will determine what stat the enemy unit will use (if it’s a weapon, the unit will attack the enemy’s defense. If magic, the unit will attack the enemy’s res). So say you have a mortal sevant with an iron sword. Instead of their damage being unit strength - enemy defense, it’s unit magic - enemy defense. If the mortal sevant uses fire, its unit magic - enemy res.
I know this is 3 years late but seal movement is D tier. It gives -1 move. Minus. One. That’s so negligible. Banshee gives -5 (or -4) which is much better, encloser removes all move. Seal movement is horrible and only available to Dimitri as well, who one shots everything anyway
The direct really shows that the Switch is nearing the end of its lifespan. Sure there was Metroid Prime 4, Zelda, Mario Party, and Mario and Luigi but those feel like a last victory lap.
