I’m honestly glad we got so many extra emblems because a game with so much replayability deserves to also have so many options. It’s so fun to just mess around with many weapons, and emblem combos
I agree and I appreciate that they didn't make the hardest difficulty rely on the DLC, especially in the early game. They let the player decide how easy or hard to make the game.
Maybe blocking counterattacks will activate the sniper class skill giving a consistent +10 crit from avoid terrain? Hoping this makes sniper Yunaka even more busted :D
My favorite part of this ring is that to avoid having fRobin appear to be Lucina's canon mother, they instead basically made Chrom x mRobin canon I probably won't use this ring on my current playthrough (I haven't even gotten Camilla or Hector and probably won't this playthrough). But, I'm definitely looking forward to using Chrobin when I eventually do a second playthrough
I'd say they kinda screwed up by giving the Levinsword the exact same model for five games in a row(minus some texturing)... and sure, the Bolt Sword has been that way since essentially Mystery of the Emblem, but they could have gone with the semi-abstract "sparking blade" from Genealogy or Thracia.
I think they missed the opportunity to make it into Flame Sword. Like. We have had wind and levin swords. But we have never had a fire sword. And they could’ve given Lances Wind because right now the Lance only has Calvary effectiveness. We didn’t need wind on axe.
i hope robin gets to talk about being a fell dragon trying to be a good dragon chat to our fell dragons so they have another "fell" dragon to speak to besides the other divine dragons and dragons.
I'm not exactly how great Chrom and Robin are going to be ability wise, but like most Emblems, sometimes it takes the right character and class build that can make the most use of it. As in it "can" go on these units, but certain units will make better use of it than others. Of course that goes without saying. Also like what we got with the 3 Houses Lords/Byleth and Corrin/Camilla, will we get another Special Move involving Lucina, Chrom, and Robin? That seems like they definitely should, but who knows. I'm also really looking forward to their Paralogue Map Music. Engage has some really killer music and head-boppers, so I hope we get another banger soundtrack.
I feel like Celine would be a bad user of this because she already wants to carry a levin sword and wastes the engage weapon. I would want to pair Chrobin with someone who has decent magic, but doesn't primarily use sword, so they can bust out the engage if they need magic damage. Merrin and Fogado come to mind, but there are probably others I'm not thinking of.
So is it just me or does Chrobins bracelet give you a free Backup attack? Cuz the first clip showed Robin doing a Backup attack and if so, how does it work with Lucinas Engage Attack? Does it treat Robin as another unit?
Can't make assumptions about the weight or Celine's speed/build in the vid but Chrobin's Levin Sword is 3 less Mt, 5 less hit, and at least 3 less wt than a regular +0 Levin Sword since they show both in the inventory.
I sure as hell hope it's Celine's personal ring. The Princess of Mid Whomst Eats All My Stat Boosters makes less use of all the spirit dusts I fed her than a levin sword Chloe. Seeing how soren is joined to the hip with Veyle now, Celine literally having Robin's Ignis should grant her some broken buffs as well, and since vidame is the only mystical that can use swords, that would probably be how it's done. But looking at what's shown now it only looks mid. Like Celine. Ambush is redundant, 1 chain attack is eh, kinda boring honestly. And as others have pointed out a refined Levin sword is just going to outscale and make the engage Levin redundant.
Reading this made me extremely confused but then I figured out you thought dlc bracelets were rings and it all made sense. At least you gave me something to laugh at with my husband.
My man, how small is your wrist? (But actually, like the other guy said, the DLC emblems are all bracelets. They say they are bracelets, they look like them, and when you engage, their wrist (not finger) shines)
I'm sorry, but who tf is playing engage with a diagonal camera angle? That alone makes this video unwatchable. 0 out of 10. Forget all of the informative analysis, that diagonal camera ruins everything. Ironic unsubscribe lmao
Man…I swear DLC content for fire emblem is getting worse and worse with each new game. Remember DLC that gave multiple new/unique classes? Map packs, new characters, new items/weapons/spells, etc.
@@matthewsimon6170 has that been confirmed yet though? From what I have read it seems to be extremely limited in those areas. Either way, maybe it’s just me, but without a new game plus, or any kind of reward feature to carry into a new game, the replay ability is pretty low.
It's been a while since wave 4 was confirmed as a side story with new members for our rosters as "deployable" units. As for new classes, I don't think it was announced but the DLC units will certainly have unique classes. Personally, I like the DLC's for the game. Only maps that really annoyed was Camilla's but well, as much as I love Fates, Fates map were... special.
