I think this is going to be an alternate timeline where our alear goes to sometime after the end of our game which would explain why alear clearly knows about other worlds existing. I also thought the same about the well. There's no reason a weapon carries an otherworldly aura just because right? I thought maybe the well itself is a portal and the somniel and by extension somnie aren't what we were told and could actually tie in to sombron (like somnie being a dormant version of the zero emblem) I'm most probably wrong but the somniel seems awfully important for something so vaguely explained.
It doesn't seem so at all as it seems the lords are our enemies this time around since the bad ending kills them all off it's probably an alternate timeline where he defeated lumera instead a thousand years ago. Who knows tho we will have to wait and see
@@acefreak9561 “since the bad ending kills them off” Sombron presumably regained the ability to create corrupted that retained their personalities when he used the Emblems to increase his power, and Veyle never lost that ability. The royals being corrupted themselves would explain why they’re ordering lesser corrupted around.
@@AzureGreatheart idk I still believe that's not the case. Apart from my case a friend theorizes sombron was indeed defeated in that timeline as well but the veyle on that timeline eventually rises up starts another war and wins creating a mirror image of our world where veyle is the dragon monarch instead creating a cult around her in the process. He theorizes this because the fell dragon siblings have features similar to veyle.
@@AzureGreatheart and again sombron could never gain the power to create true corrupted because it isn't a power of his own presumably the power belongs to one of his mates who passed it down to veyle he can create corrupted yes just not true corrupted
@@acefreak9561 I thought I remembered it being implied that Sombron couldn’t create lifelike corrupted because he was weakened, but the dialogue I remembered didn’t actually say much outside of him not being able to do so. Likewise, I thought the boss of chapter 25 implied he regained that ability, but it’s unclear whether he did it or if it was evilVeyle. Of course, whether Sombron can create lifelike corrupted doesn’t matter as much as whether someone he is allies with can, and the bad ending has evilVeyle in it, meaning he has access to that power, even if he can’t personally use it.
Since the two new Fell Dragon kids thanked Alear for "answering their prayers", maybe they summoned Alear as an Emblem? Which would mean these two aren't pure blood Fell Dragons, but half Fell and half Divine? 🤔 And Alear actually has a physical body which means they would definitely survive traveling between dimensions unlike a normal Emblem. And Alear's ring could be resting in the Alternate Lythos ring chamber for some reason lol.
4:00 There's also him having what looks to be the same necklace as Fogado. One thing I find interesting is Alear asking who is threatening their world "now," implying that there was a past threat that has already been dealt with.
Maybe its possible that Sommie is the true enemy but in the Xenologue as the alternate form where instead of an dog looking being its an Corrupted Dragon but was in his current form in that timeline. Can be wrong about that
I think Prayer vs Invocations is just for Summoning Emblems. Elusia worships the Fell Dragon and we dont see much dialogue that suggest that they say invocations instead of praying.
At the end of the story, Sombron tells us that he's from another world and that he was banished to Elyos as an act of mercy because his side lost the war. We also know from Sombron that there are other fell dragons and emblem rings from his world. I assume that these two fell dragon characters and the dlc emblem bracelets are from Sombron's original world, we end up traveling there, and this xenologue is going to act like an epilogue and origin story for Sombron.
I kind of speculated on Reddit that the well might be how we access the fell xenologue so idk if we need to beat the game or once chapter 6 is cleared like how all the other DLCs start. The signs all point to it with the weapons "excludes an otherwordly air". I also mentioned that the speculated cutscene can be Alear hearing voices from the well then when he/she checks she falls into it and thats how it starts
another thing reason well is really good is 4* can also drop master seals i think its 10% chance got lucky and got around chapter 10 when its pretty limted .
I wonder if this is probably going to be non canon just like with ashen wolves, and we will just be able to get the new characters to use in the main story in a special way. I am just really excited to see what the Fell Xenologue has in store.
I hope it is canon to an extent the existence of other worlds I known and emblems specifically hector acknowledged being in another world before ours where he was a "RING" not a bracelet under firenes watch
@@pearsemolloy9656 I’m pretty sure that whole thing is supposed to hint at Alear as a defective Fell Dragon. Because In CH24, Past Alear Explains that because they can’t transform, they collect rings so sombron doesn’t kill them.
So uh, I've heard that EVeyle likes sweets from this comment section. Where does that come from, exactly? Also, Hector did say that both Chloe and Céline in his world are the opposite of what we have, so flip-flop world may be true.
Ngl, I’m getting some major’s mask vibe from the analysis where the formula for the fell dragon is flipped in terms of concept that a divine dragon do.
The reversal situation seems most likely, for two reasons. First, that the hooded figure wears a similar necklace to Fogado. Second, there are some leaks that hint that alternate versions of some of the 4 hounds will be playable. Great video!
