Thanks for checking out the channel! I make content on a wide number of subjects based around fitness and sports (mostly football). Based in NC and open to collaborations and potential brand partners, so feel free to reach out!
This does work , you can also use a smith machine and do a static hold , I was able to get 2 sets of 8 reps with 405 on the smith machine doing this , and 315 on a regular bench was easy .
Hey there, I am using this method now for 3 days, I got really painfull to the touch lower legs now. The shin splint feels like its a little less painfull, but the painfull bruising doesn't seem to lessen yet. Does the painfull bruising go away eventually? Or am I just scraping to harsh. I do try to avoid the bone. Update: After some more time the bruising is almost gone, my shin splints feel alot better, only the right leg is still a bit achy. I also have a large muscle knot there, but it's getting smaller each day. I did try to scrape a little less hard and that fixed the bruising for me
Started with the scraping and adter a few days i can tell that this works! Normally after playing football i have pain in my shins. Did it for a few days and there is almost no pain after playing football!
You did not even teach us how to hike you where just talking about studying film welp I already know how to juke but next time don’t clickbait no disrespect
Im 50 yrs old, just started doing these 21s with a 20kg barbell, doing 5 sets per day (along with other exercises, 21s 5 set tricep lat pulldown) and I’ve definitely noticed muscle growth in my biceps & arms. These definitely work👍🏻.
Very helpful! Going to try these. I have a gym in the next building beside mine (same buildings, same amenities) until ours is ready, so not all the machines in this video are there but I was really looking for a way to help my form. I have lost 40+ lbs and am now new to body recomp and am trying to focus on losing fat + building muscle.
Doing dumbbell floor press at home, I’m using 60lb dumbbells but I don’t have dumbbells any higher than that. I can do 15 reps. So could I still lift at 1/2 way down and hold it there until the dumbbell fall and it will spring up my actual floor press? Or should I have to add some heavy objects like rice bags to increase +20lbs on each dumbbell?
Half squats have a place but don't do only them. I noticed in my workouts that I was going just below parallel but when getting up off the floor, from working on a car or motorcycle, I had trouble getting up. Strong thighs but trouble getting up? I tried ATG (Ass To Grass) squats and found out THAT was where my weakness was. I couldn't even squat fully down with a 15 lb bar on my shoulders. Well, I COULD squat down but I just couldn't stand up with the weight. I had to do remedial squatting with no weight and holding onto the squat rack uprights until those unused muscles got stronger.
last time I did this, my hamstrings cramped. I remember bending my knees a bit while doing these so that must've shifted focus between muscles. I'll be more mindful today and I'll try these again with a more proper form
I did with massage gun and felt relief, calf became more vascular after but like after 30mins pain came back even when walking, after basketball im almost crying with so much pain..
I dont really know what to do to be honest. This helps but doesnt fix it, its like short term pain relief. Ive been strengthening it while also doing this so hope that helps. I reccomend you do that too, look up posterior tibialis strengthening
The leg extension is a great exercise. However, it is not going play a major factor in you jumping higher. The squat, deadlift, power clean, and other olympic lifts will. This exercise is not used by explosive athletes (track, football, basketball). It does a great job helping increase the size/appearance of the muscle
I weigh 175 and my goal is to bench my bodyweight ten times. I can do it six times right now. So my first set should be something I can do, say twelve times? And after the first set, I do several more sets of twelve, dropping the weight for each set in order to hit twelve reps? My joints are getting a bit creaky (I am 56), so I would probably do 6-7 sets in total. Is that enough?
Good job sir! Can you make a video weight exercise for 55+ ? I know this one just works fine but focus on growing or maintaining muscle for aging population can use your help
