Thank you, I'm going to try to save my 4 yr. old rhubarb plants by using DE. It appears pill bugs/rollie pollies have quickly killed off two of my rhubarb plants already & only two plants are left. {{A word of caution, the diatomaceous {DE} earth will absolutely kill bees, butterflies, lady bugs and some other beneficial insects. So when I use DE I'm going to use it sparingly carefully just in the problem area around the base of my plants.}}
My idiot neighbors ( and nasty, i had to get a protection order from the court) are gardening in the EXACT location they just sprayed a ton of roundup on. Stupid people. Im sure they will be fine they are fully vaccinated.😂😂😂
This just happened to me. All my poor sprouts were ravaged. 😮💨 I used DE and transplanted some flowers and herbs. Got a small greenhouse for seed starts and plan on using a neem/castille spray and beer traps. Clay pots with slug bait is my final line of defense. 😂
My water spigot is in the middle of my 2 garage doors. And I have a brick retaining wall on one side of the driveway that I need to get over to my flower bed. You started with you had your system up and over your garage door. I am wondering if i run the system from the spigot and over my garage door and up if it will work. Will there be enough pressure to get it up and over?
Sorry about taking so long to get back to thank you. Seem to have had a pretty bad Heart attack back in June of 22..... That sucked big time!!!!!! Old fart recovery is slow! Finally installed my Boogie Filter this year! Thank you!
No worries. Most people don’t respond to a question I ask them. Did I ask you something? I get so many comments and have so many different videos I forgot about them and have to go back and re watch them. It’s crazy I made this video 7 years ago.
Great series man. Most people are to lazy to test it out and would rather sit and complain. I learned alot from the series and appreciate all the hard work you put into it. Thanks
It's annoying for your garden yes, but stop with the fucking conspiracy roundup shit, roundup is the least of your problems when it comes to harming human health, there are way worse pesticides out there and everyone just focuses regardless of what the science shows on roundup because its the most popular. You are benefiting the monocrop pesticide laden megafarms that actually harm the environment by erroneously focusing on roundup. It degrades rapidly in the soil and isn't harmful to humans unless you spray it on plants you immediately harvest and eat after or drink it.
It’s the original transmission. Its never been rebuilt. I’ve only had to change the accumulator spring. It has 220,000 miles on it. The truck weighs about 10,000 with tool box and I also tow a 26 foot toy hauler. I’m amazed it’s lasted this long. I was considering doing an Allison swap on it. I definitely need a newer truck.
Though I didn't watch the whole video. I still appreciate the artwork, tips & guide for this kind of project, 8 minutes of the video gives a perspective of the creator to audience.
I feel your pain! Im worried about my kids health. Im a new homeowner,bought a house a year ago just to find out my neighbours spray killex on their lawn 1 m away from the fence. I got a garden right next to the fence. Killex is carcenigenic and neurotoxic. I convinced 1 neighbour on one side to stop using lawn services but i dont know how to approach the other neighbour as we are not really buddy-buddy with them. There is a safer alretnative based on iron.
Been constantly thinking about starting a garden the past few days. Too bad it’s October already! :/ your story is very inspiring though. Thanks for sharing! Any tips on what I can do to prepare at this point of the year?
Many types of fruit when this happens is due to lack of water, another thing I believe you are right, you should have harvested them before but I believe it is due to lack of water ...
Thank you for making ur videos!! Always appreciate honest growers like u! I also enjoy the video on how u prep and finish ur garden for the seasons Hope to see more soon!
That same year they sprayed the roadsides near my house. Killed 25 beehives within a 2 week period. $7500 worth of bees gone. So I called the city and they put me in contact with the 3rd party they hired. They said they don't use stuff that's harmful to pollinators. They even sent me a list! 3rd one on the list was glyphosate. Needless to say I let them know that Glyphosate definitely is harmful to pollinators and that they had killed my apiary with their spray. Their response was that they wouldn't spray next to our property again. So irresponsible!
I don’t know why you don’t have more subscribers, I am a new gardener and I repeatedly come back to watch these. Especially your playlist of starting a garden from scratch.
Thanks, I appreciate that. Probably because I don’t post enough content on a regular basis. My vacations and handyman business get in the way of my garden time and video posting. I was just out in the garden harvesting peppers and zucchini for tonight’s dinner. Thanks for reminding me to make more videos I have a lot to post.
