What's crazy is that Suzui just straight up jumped. She didn't wait for anyone to come talk or anything. She truly found no other options.

Shit, I can't believe Royal just went ahead and added more to this scene with the crowd's reactions to the jump too...

Once I calmed down, I thought of something that made me shiver even more. In Japan, before committing suicide, you take off your shoes. It's a cultural thing, with various different reasons given as to why it's done. But Shiho was wearing shoes when she jumped. They even took the time to do a close-up of her feet right before she jumped. That got me thinking; did she really want to die? Or did she jump thinking that she had to, but she didn't really want to? Was she desperately praying that she'd survive all the way down? The thought makes my stomach turn.

Game goes from: ''Talking silly cat trying not to get caught'' to ''Look at this depressed and possibly sexually abused girl attempt suicide''.

you know what terrified about this scene, this is literally what happens in real life and I had experienced it first hand in high school When I was a first year's high school student, basically around the same age as Ryuji and Akiren, while I was in the middle of a class a senior year's student drop from my school 5th-floor balcony. At the time I didn't know what just happen because my classroom was on the blind side of the place she falls and there wasn't anything happen prior, there was a blur of something fall and them someone scream that someone just fall. Our teacher asked us to stay in class but that didn't stop other students to run up the balcony to see what happened, I did try to run out to see what happen but I barely got past the sea of people taking pictures and gossiping about who just die or awing about witnessing someone just died By the time the paramedic arrives, she had already died and the crown started to disperse, the only thing I could see was that the paramedic and police cover her body. She died on impact, broke her spinal column and her leg According to the new, she had been depress for half a year and had started to go to the hospital for about a month or so, that day she asked her mother to bring her to school to say hi to her friends and then went to the 5th floor and jump. And that is just 2013, 3 years before the event of this game

I honestly think that the teachers were absolutely correct in trying to make students stay in class when this happened, speaking as someone who witnessed very similar situation in school. Witnessing a suicide attempt potentially traumatizes young students, and may also potentially encourage people with debilitating mental health problems to do the same. On the other hand, if you let all students walk freely when this happens, you get exactly what's happening here: people shamelessly taking pictures of the person that's attempting or committing suicide. The teachers told them to stay put in their classrooms to protect the students, and the one that attempted.

How many people do you think realize the true reason why Shiho try to commit suicide after Ann rejected Kamoshida’ss sexual advances from the previous day? Because I knew from first watching this scene what truly happened

I think.... I think that is the QUIETEST I've ever heard Kagato.

Pretty sure what happened to Shiho was the last straw. What Kamoshida did to her is what drove everyone to hating him and wanting him to suffer.

I remember showing my friend Persona 5 for the first time and we got to this point. She was sitting in front of me while I was playing and when we got to Shiho’s attempted suicide she physically jumped because of how shocking it was.

"Boy, that escalated quickly" This is like 5 hours in, isn't it?

This moment was when you knew shit was gonna get darker from here.

I feel bad for what Shiho has to go through! Even reality today, many high school students has tried to commit suicide cuz they cannot handle the pain anymore. Only difference is that many have suffered cyber-bullying than physically punishment.

People are truly hopeless. In real life, this is what kids would be doing too at the sight of an attempted suicide I bet. Have all their phones out and everything =/ But I think that's what makes this game great as well, it shines a light on today's society. Every villain in this game..real people like that exist in real life...of course minus the metaverse. I think everyone can relate to some character in this game, and what they're going through, and that makes it amazing

I was so shocked at this moment, I was very afraid that I would have to talk to her and stop her from comiting suicide, in the end, we don't even have the chance but it's still a frigtening moment

When I first played this game, I saw the scene and thought for sure we’d take her down. I was literally thinking “They don’t have the balls to do th-“ and then she fell and I almost dropped the controller.
