You know .. as someone who's home airport is SFO its shocking the aiport was even allowing landings with all the debris still there given how delayed this airport can be with a few clouds in the sky.
My home airport as well. Flight was delayed. The SFO/NTSB folks worked like mad to remove any and all FOD (Foreign Object Debris) from the R runway to allow flights to recommence on the good runway. It was quite a sight to see that wreckage lemme tell ya.
Yeah same, I heard about this one called Air France flight 4950 where the plane (a Concorde) crashed just because of a tiny piece of debris from another plane. That broke the tire and caused pieces of rubber to go into the engine.
