@@Wolfgang51501986 You're welcome ! I used it as a barrier where I used a couple powerful magnets to hold something, so the paint and the magnets are separated. Works ! :- )
Because I pressure wash it (first with soap wash on the pressure washer then high pressure clean rinse). Keeps it very nice. Will be lots more on mods coming soon. I have a ton of parts at powder coaters now.
Never pressure wash under your hood. Seals around those components are not designed to withstand this and will be compromised. Best practice; spray on Shower setting while the engine is running. Just saying. Truck looks great! Thanks for the review. I'm look at this kit for my FZJ80.
Agreed. The shower setting on my pressure washer is incredibly weak so to compensate for the high pressure I back the nozzle off to an acceptable distance to prevent delicate parts from being damaged. It works quite well. I would not recommend using the hood-push-switch that comes with the YodaTEQ kit. It is very cheap and poorly designed and won’t last more than a year. Think about a nice manual switch that you can mount in a sensible place and rig that up instead. You’ll be so glad you did.
