Gundam VS (PS4) had a lot of good ideas, just bad execution. If modes like 3 V 3, Attack Bonus, Boss Hunter, & Destroy Counter were not just relegated to online bonus modes and were playable offline and online as separate games modes that can be played with friends, then the game may have lasted longer than it did.
I had a really fun time playing through the survival mode and occasional boss intermissions with my buddy. I really wish they'd realease a new title with these modes in again but more flushed out.
Oh yeah also to mention this mode also exist on the Chinese EXVS too with actual real PVP experience where a player can also play as a random Boss MS or MA that exist on that game
Ah yes, the actual reason anyone would still play GVS instead of EXVS. Seriously BAMCO, you want more copies flying off shelves for the inevitable EXVS2 port? Put in more cool side questy single player modes or extra PvE stuff like these.
Having Themed Boss Raids would be pretty lit. AEUG vs Psycho? Meisters vs Regnant? Torrington vs Shamblo? There's so many moments they could pull from, this would literally make itself.
Honestly, GUNDAM VERSUS had a couple of things I'd love to see come back. This is definitely the biggest, but 3v3 mode is up there too, and I'm going to miss the playable Alvaaron/Alvatore until my dying days, that was such a fun concept
What is this? This is one of the many intermission stages in the ultimate battle mode of Gundam Versus. You and other 5 cpu are up against a very tanky mobile armor boss. This one had the potential to be a good separate game mode by itself, at least what I think. Imagine a PVE lobby where you could set this up and play with your casual friends or people who just want to play this series in a cooperative way over PVP. There are also other types of mini-games and free-for-all battles. I wonder if this will ever come back as I don't think EXVS2 ever did anything similar or had more than 4 playable characters in the map at any time.
hmm... imagine this as limited raid event mode in exvs series, and for every player who done this event would be rewarded with special title, card background, or maybe skin, etc.
This is one thing I like about the versus mobile version is that there're pve and coop mode just to play around with some other players without sweating too much.
I completed MBON's mission mode and realized that none of them ever gave me quite the same experience as this. I think having a unified Boss to fight against is very fun. I also liked it during arcade runs, but I admit that's mostly a 'me' thing.
