Hi glen! That’s a very interesting question. All of them are soooooo different. It wouldn’t be fair to compare them just by “looks”, because for all of them, the overall experience is what makes the trip so worth while. El Nido - while it is beautiful, I find it to be too cramped. The water situation is also not ideal. I definitely prefer phi phi islands over el nido any day. I like the vibe of phi phi islands more. Balabac - STUNNING. But is farther and more difficult to get to. You’re also up against the weather so much that your trip will never be guaranteed. But we really loved it there and to this day still the best beaches we’ve been to. It’s very limiting though. Since it is so raw and non-commercial, you have to plan your trip very carefully. The key to a great experience here is a good tour operator. Maya Beach - the overall experience of being in Maya Bay and Phi Phi islands is just wonderful. There are a lot of tourists, yes. But the sense of freedom you get from being in these places is unreal. Very easy to DIY. We especially loved the pirate boat. Balabac is a must for sure especially if you’re into “raw adventures”. Maya beach (the pirate boat experience specifically) is a must especially if you’re in Thailand anyway. We really loved both experiences for completely different reasons 😝 We also have videos on all Maya Beach, El Nido and Balabac. So if you have the time, we hope you’ll check those out :)
@@nimpys1 hi chemise!! :) the train fare was around 980 Thai baht per person for 2nd class sleeper with AC. We book through 12go.asia :) safe travels to you as well!
I want to tell you guys that you two are so cute and eating like that might be to your liking but we Thais don't put vinegar on fried rice or anything except noodles. Also, fried rice or Pad Krapow is more delicious if eaten with fish sauce and chili, not vinegar. If you see that it's clear and has big chili pieces, that's chili pickled in vinegar🤣
Oh wow!!! Thanks for the tip! We’ll keep this in mind for our next trip. We really thought it was fish sauce since it tasted similar to Filipino patis 🙈 next time we’ll be on a better look out 😝

Aaaawww thanks so much zelle! 🤗 this comment really made our day. Travelling is great in itself but being able to do it together is what really makes it worth while. Much love to you 💜
my friend lost her cam inside the Sumaguing Cave and the locals went back inside the cave to retrieve it. They even said " walang magnanakaw sa Sagada " <3 I absolutely adore Sagada :D sobrang ganda tlg ng North <3
Thank you so much for vistting our country, and we're glad that you love our Thai food. Hope you have got a good time exploring interesting places in Bangkok.
Hello! We actually bought our tickets from 12go.asia (Manila to Ilocos) then just got dropped off at San Juan La Union. Just tell the conductor where you need to be dropped and they’ll drop you off. The only problem with booking online is the fare is higher since the distance is longer. If you buy your tickets at the station they’ll charge you until La Union only. We just opted to pay more so we had sure seats since milka was with us :) safe travels Julia! Hope you enjoy your trip :)
SORRY, but this NOT the way to see Ayutthaya. You did not do enough research. You left BKK too late in the day. You got to the wrong station, and boarded the wrong train. You arrived at Ayutthaya late, leaving too little time to do any justice to the great city's ruins. Wat Mahathat and Wat Ratchaburana are just next to each other, yet you took a long detour to Wat Phra Ram instead. You missed the most important and spectacular temple of all, Wat Phra Si Sanphet. You owe Ayutthaya another visit, and this time you should spend at least one evening here. At least you still had a good time! Sawadee khrap!
