Nha Trang Vietnam is one of the most famous destinations in the country. And with good reason. It is Vietnam seafood capital and is also home to interesting beaches and temples. It was really fun exploring Vietnam Nha Trang. Can’t wait to be back!

In general, Nha Trang is warmer than Da Nang as it's towards the South. I love and truly admire Vietnam's beach cities' culture of communal access to their lovely beach. The local Vietnamese get up very early and go to the beach around 5:30am to swim, exercise and socialize, young and old. By 6:30-7am, they go home to clean up, have breakfast and go to work and school. That leaves the beach practically empty for us sun-worshiping tourists between mid AM to mid PM. We're always confused on "where's everybody, why don't people enjoy the beach ?!?". Well that's because it's HOT :-) Then around 4:30pm the Vietnamese return to the beach after having finished school and work to swim, exercise, socialize and enjoy cheap snacks sold there. Around 5:30pm to 6pm, they head home to eat dinner with their family or go out to the hundreds of cheap but delicious eateries. It's such a healthy lifestyle but most importantly, this is possible because VN's Communist government try to allow equal access to the beach, rich or poor, young and old. I've been to Caribbean countries where most of the beautiful beaches are exclusive to expensive resorts where rich foreigners can use but locals cannot access their God given nature. It's a shame. I hope VN will continue to have this approach.

This such a great insight on Vietnamese culture. They really do have a healthy lifestyle that’s pretty aspirational. And yes we do agree on the access to beaches. It’s so great that everyone has access to the beach and not privatised as the Caribbean. Eventhough we have been there, we could imagine how it could be since there are so many big resorts. Hopefully Vietnam stays as charming and accessible as it is now. We really did have fun on our trip especially as people who travel on a budget :)

Hi how to not get food poison there ? And is it easy to find organic vegatables and fruits and nuts ? Thank You
@EdsandJoyce
@EdsandJoyce 24 дня назад
@@Johndoe-qn9jr hello! The truth is, Eds and I are just extremely lucky that we have never had food poisoning during our travels *knock on wood* hehehe. As far as ORGANIC fruits and veggies, we’ve never really asked. But there are just so many options for fruits and veggies, both on street stalls and actual stores. Nuts too! Sorry if we’re not much help on this matter, we’re not very picky with our food. We did noticed tons of stores though, just really not sure if organic.

How is corona situation in Vietnam now?
@EdsandJoyce
@EdsandJoyce 5 месяцев назад
Hello mahima! While we are not very knowledgeable about the statistics of corona, we do know that travel to Vietnam is pretty much like the pre-pandemic era. We felt very comfortable walking around the streets without masks. Hope this helps!
