My channel features mainly very simple recipes. Since many people are still wary about microwave cooking, my microwave recipes are usually accompanied by instructions for stove top cooking. But I would like to add here that I have been cooking main courses in the microwave since 35 years. It is my greatest time saving gadget, with the added advantage of preventing food burning. Be sure to use glass or corning dishes and it should be safe. Adjust cooking times based on the power of your microwave. Mine has a high power of 900watts. It is usually mentioned on the edge of the oven door. Or Google it for your brand and model.
It won't work. You will get a soggy tasteless lump. Even in an airfryer it doesn't turn out nice. This needs deep frying, no substitutes. But when you dip in water and squeeze, a lot of oil will be removed
Made it with ur recipe, turned out yummy. Added more nuts & raisins as I don’t like peals. The one made on stove is better & authentic . Ur recipe was easy to follow & best part is your measurements were in cups & gms. I prefer gms as cup measurements are not always accurate.thank you 😊
The addition of the dessicated coconut to the dish has been a great tip and I loved the result - delicious and nutritious and lip smacking good! And by the way, I added no oil to the dish - dry roasted the sliced onion in my thick bottomed stainless steel pan along with the spices and added chopped tomatoes and dessicated coconut to complete the base.
The flour makes it more nutritious. And it thickens the gravy. You can add mashed boiled potatoes to thicken. Otherwise it will be a watery preparation.
