Canadian Content Creator looking to share my love of gaming. I love to create guides and tips for Monster Hunter and New World among others! :)
I've been focusing on Monster Hunter for this year and have been putting out my own series of PC Mouse and Keyboard Tutorials. I'm aiming to improve and vary up the type of content you'll see on this channel but for now, we vibing :)
You can watch me or hunt with me live on Twitch at the link below and you have any comments, thoughts, concerns, or things you'd like to see, leave a comment on any video or send me a msg on any social :)
To be honest I really like the new moves with the kinsects, but I do wish that they didn't take away the jelly and elemental options from them, I get why they did but I really enjoyed the option to make my kinsect as fast or as strong as I want etc, also I kinda wish we had some new kinsects, I think the second form splitting of into two separate forms only to connect again Into one form is kinda boring and the kinsects from iceborn were just the basic kinsects but a silver colour and different wings, and then there not even in rise it just feels wierd to add them then immediately remove them I get things like the dragon soul since it's a cross over but like when they make it themselves its frustrating not seeing them in later titles, especially since we have had the same kinsects since mh4.
Perfect rush is very easy is you use a controller. Just enable vibration and press attack when it vibrates during the rush. Helpful if you're using it on a big monster flailing around obscuring your character model
Dodgebolt feels like it’s best with spread/blast bows. Spread because close range just works really well with it, and blast helps with easy knockdowns. And I 100% agree with needing to know the monster attack patterns pretty well. If you can dance with the monster, then you’ll get the most out of dodge bolt.
I just started playing and once I unlocked this I'm like "oh this is the charge blade of wild hearts!" This guide is such a massive help! I had no idea about the chain of mutations and how it resets when you stow, and knowing karakuri attacks give two energy is huge! Thanks so much for explaining everything!
Why some of your armor have extra slots for decoration? i have the exact brachydios helm B+ that u have in you video but i dont have 2 slots of 4 like u do
Thank you for making this! It's been hard for me to learn since so many guides assume you use controller. I can't wait to practice this, I really want to get good with the chargeblade.
The only thing I didn’t like is that old ass aerial combat from world. Rise diversified it so much and allowed for so much control it’s hard to go back.
For those who didn't play World, Rise or are new to the series: Downward Thrust and Diving Wyvern are similar moves stylistically, but functioned pretty differently. Diving Wyvern had you wait a beat in the air before dropping strait down and with some end lag on the move, while DT was near immediate and had a bit more forward movement. DW was also more of a true "finisher" in that the more mid-air bounces you did, the higher the damage multiplier you had upon hitting. DT was a mid-air combo ender that let you quickly transition to ground combat. I missed the DT in Rise/Sunbreak, but the Wyvern was great and I hope it comes back in some form eventually. It looks like they're going to incorporate the various Rise kinsect forms in your normal glaive gameplay. In a few instances around the 29-30 second mark of the weapon showcase i do see the kinsect spin around in circles while the hunter is attacking, as if it's following the weapon, so while this is only conjuncture, when loosed/you have all 3 essences I think the Kinsect may follow along like the Assist-style kinsect Rise had to help with damage dealing/knock out. The fast shooting of the kinsect during focus mode is similar to how you can use some of the speed-style kinsect in Rise, where these would charge for a moment on your glaive and when use would rocket out. we'll have to wait to see the specifics of how the kinsect works. I can only hope the dust vortex makes a return. It's stupid, but I loved playing "Bug Wizard" in Rise, tossing out the little guy and yelling "FIREBALL" as my dust clouds exploded.
If you didn’t notice in the first clip, the redical tells you what extract the part you’re looking is going to give. It says 1 prior to the bug going out.
OMG I totally missed that! That's hella beautiful! Very helpful for new hunters and even veterans for those random monsters that change parts for white and orange. Very nice quality of life! Thanks for pointing it out :)
The fact that the kinsect attacks with you at all times ,probably just focus mode, is so much better to remain offensive than just shooting the bug to grab the buffs.
Man, I really want to like this weapon but the fact that the ammo type dictates what combos you have to use makes me dislike it. I want a weapon where I can use all combos depending on the situation and not be forced to just use 1/3 of it's moveset the entire hunt... Like: If I use long shelling I should basically never use pokes? It feels so wrong using none of the attacks from it. =/ But this is still a great video, very well explained!
0:37 I just tested it and Spindance Saver does NOT increase the grace period before decay begins. The grace period is about 12.2 seconds without skills, and can only be increased by Sublime Dance. (Parry Perfection also does not increase the grace period.)
