Hi everyone! My name is Anastasia and I am a Data Scientist at a Stockholm-based music startup. During the last 6 years, I lived in Russia, France, and Sweden, earned two Master's degrees in Business Intelligence and Computer Science, and grown from a recent graduate to a Senior role in just 3 years. I'm a strong believer that 'fear has big eyes, and that the lack of access to relevant career progression information prevents people from trying. Here, I'll be sharing my experience and hopefully show on my example that building a satisfying career in Europe is not as hard as it seems.
We also need to talk to the employment service, the social security office, etc. why it is still very mildly said completely mathematically impossible to earn a living in the country full time and it has not improved over the decades. Fredrik
I failed an interview last week because I was nervous and didn't talk about my previous projects in a logical way. I'm looking for the solutions now. This is really helpful for me! Thank you so much for sharing!
Hi Ana! Thank you for making an informative video. I am planning to do my masters in Sweden and hence I have been looking for the job market and salary expectations in Sweden for quite a while and finally this video popped up and gave a lot more clarity about everything.

Many thanks Anastasia for this nice, well-structured, and highly informative video. I am a Flutter developer too and it would be nice if you add your LinkedIn link to get connected
😫😳😕omg not what I thought it was! Sounds like a massive headache. A rabbit hole into merging with Artificial Intelligence. jeez how do humans live like this? Typical Reply “I actually enjoy some aspects of it, I like it “ 🤥
Hello Anastasia! As a Data Scientist I admire you and love your RU-vid channel. I wanted to ask you if by any chance you know a company in Sweden that's willing to give a job permit when hiring people, or in any case open to worldwide remote opportunities. I'm looking forward to moving there, hopefully soon :) it's been a bit rough because I know some companies offer these for more experienced roles only. Any suggestion or advice would be much appreciated!
Hi Anastasia, Thanks for sharing this very informative video. How is the job market in Stockholm for recently certified Full stack developers and data scientists with an advanced degree such as MBA?
Been testing it for a month or so. 3.5 does a decent job better than Bard. Wil need to test version 4 i.e paid version. But its helpful if you go through the fundamentals of SQL the HARD WAY. That way you will be able to spot mistakes. This AI is meant to assist and replace humans
why did not u give upload or copy paste the sql table data of both the table and u can ask the details of order between two consecative events .. so it would have made more sense ... i think ...
I like doing research but i hate to become Excel master. I like programming and i want to make something i can use. Just more management oriented than just backend-programmer
You not even need to write queries , Vinchi modal can generate result on the basis of natural language processing like " give me the average salary from table 1" 😅🥲
I worked in Stockholm in the 70/s as a car mechanic and assembling furniture to set up new offices. I already spoke Swedish. Then I came to California and started a software company. "Pacific Software" a DBA in L.A. County. I still run that and I have ran that remotely from Stockholm and Helsinki, both. My old Personnummer was no more, which I discovered trying to get DSL back then. I suppose they'll give me a new one. I am a Finnish citizen. California is no longer what it once was. I have ran onto corruption with no recourse. Many of my friends have left. So, I am looking around.
5:58 - none of the EU citizens need to apply for a work permit in Sweden. The only thing which an EU citizens need to have is a valid EU passport. EU passport = residence permit. One more matter required to acquire is a personnummer. That's basically it, what's needed for an EU citizen. I myself moved to Sweden being an EU citizen and lived in couple of other EU countries being Latvian citizen. It's like that in every EU country.
Thanks for your videos. I have a question... if I accept an offer that I know is lower than the range for that position, in how much time would you say that I would be able to renegotiate it?
Hi girl! Long time no see, so glad to see you back! Great video, funny but I never actually used big query, so that’s a great motivation to try it out. A lot has happened since your last video, I was able to get my first data analyst job thanks to you and your advices which helped me feel more sure of myself 🎉 Hope to see you here regularly
You can ask it some pretty complicated questions, don't be fooled. This thing will be able to teach calculus to a 2nd grader once it's able to use formulas and graphs etc. Everyone needs to approach it with clear intentions to get what they need, just in general.
Such an insightful video, Anastasia and the rest of your SQL videos as well. I have been doing a lot of analysis work using SQL lately and it's definitely not my strongest suit but this was such a great refresher. These functions are basically what we need and use on a daily basis. Really appreaciate the time and effort you have invested. :)
