On this channel, I'll be discussing all things creative! From anime to manga to gaming to animation in general. My hope for this channel is to bring positivity to the projects that many creatives work extremely hard towards. Analysing why certain animation techniques work, looking into how writers are able to successfully convey specific emotions. And much more!
0:29 I feel like I'm the ONLY ONE talking about how the magic system is "What if Luz's way from Owl House was the only way?" and THERE IT IS, SHIRAHAMA THE WOMAN YOU ARE. Thank you so much for making this video.
Im so glad they decided to do a season 2 on dungeon meshi and not sticking to their "one season only" rule, bc they made some animes that deserved a second season or needed one to make it better
I wish manga like Mairimashita! Iruma kun got animated by Trigger too because the art style is very squishy. (no complaints to the current studio, i just like trigger) especially when there's a Yuri idol arc where they can get all flashy with animations
The dub is fantastic. I practically raced to read the rest of the manga after this season was over. Never watched something from this studio before so it was a treat to see their specialty with certain sequences looking extra actioney.
I truely love The Fragrant Glowet Booms with Dignity. Like you sad it is not bad boy-shy girl. It is complex and I find it doen't drag. I would like to collect it. But...if it is going to be 20+ volumes 😮💨 There is this problem of wanting a good series to be long but also to not go forever...
I love the variety of vovers that are put in this video. See even book cover that I have not seen at BT with 100k subs and have found just by chance on my own 😯 So yeah...for a low fantasy book with surprisingly good story has the most boring and generic cover like the " I married a lizardman", I do recommend.
I love looking at panneling and buy some 1. Vol just because of it. It is nice to have some "definitions" about how different technics are called I have read vol 1 Witch Hat Atelier and it less the story and more the art that kept me interesting. I did hear the story is unique...almost a must read.
I wana see a jacked archer in fantasy, too often you find the bow used as a woman/slender characters weapon.. but in reality most European war bows are quite heavy
delicious in dungeon is so boring the chars are literally stereotiypes, nothing interesting the ideas tehy put into the cooking are basic at best, nothing wowing me... not sure why any of this matters, its jsut boring...
After a deep conversation, I was shared this video by a friend. It was something I planned to watch following my recent burnout. Absolutely amazing visuals, awesome soundtrack, typography and message - so stunning how it all brings everything together. The negative space, even time between each piano note, helps to provide a safe space with which to reflect on. Thanks a lot for these videos - you’ve earned a new subscriber. I hope to fight off my burnout one day.
Don't get me wrong, Witch Hat Atelier paneling is great, but pretty sure she got a lot of ideas and inspiration from korean webcomics as well. They would even introduce music and sometimes images that moved. Korean comics before getting stuff like webtoons were severely underrated. Also Chinese artists like with what they did with Feng Shen Ji. I do think she has one of the best looking versions of the techniques though.
yoo new lines in motion video. The german dub is also fantastic, for me it is even better than the jp dub. I enjoyed this season so much, that I started the manga after the last episode aired and finished it in a few days. Can´t wait for seaoson 2
For me I think it feels like talent because it comes easily to me. But when i think back i realize the other factors that are at play. I was homeschooled and my parents created an environment that really fostered creativity. And we were poor, so i had to find creative ways to get things done. I couldn't go out and buy a birthday present so i looked for ways to make something for them. Some of my earliest memories are going out to the fields and collecting rocks, sticks, flowers, clay and making stuff. I loved the feel of molding clay with my bare hands, feeling the texture and figuring out how to get the shape I wanted. I realized that i could take a burnt stick from the campfire that we always had and I would draw pictures on stones and pieces of wood with it. One time, i found a small bone which i sharpened on a rock and used that to carve a picture into a huge piece of bark, I was about 6. My curiosity as a child, made me spend a LOT of time observing the world around me. I did not know at the time I was creating my visual library. People look at my stuff and say I'm talented, but now I realize its just that i have paid attention to the world around, and I have an incessant need to create. I think the "talented" part just comes down to deep curiosity and an inexplicable drive to create. I think most children are like this but then most grow out of it. I just didn't. And the more you create, the better it gets and the more your skill increases. You don't need art school either, you just need the drive.
