Bleeps and bloops. Drips and drops. I make these sounds using tape loops, a microkorg, field recordings, guitars and whatever else i can get my hands on.
@@spectrical-sound ah nice one thanks mate! i’d already pitched down the cymbal samples on tape loop so it ended up being slightly off with the natural cymbal pitch but i liked it! been pushing some darker and more dissonant stuff recently. makes me spine go weird.
LOVE The progression of this piece ,, especially around the 4 min. mark .... There,s a Score piece i made a while back called ,, Traces ,, i think you,ll enjoy as its similar in style to this ..
Well I, for one, am stoked to see how this pans out for you. I've loved your work since I first heard it and already thought of it as fairly minimal but I guess it's all relative. And I totally understand about wanting to put "usually too much" into things. I Want to make Ambient, but I usually end up making pseudo-neo-classical garbage..... Anyway, Cheers and I will definitely be staying tuned...
@@trnngthngs thank you so much for this. yeah i definitely have a tendency to throw too much in or move things along most of the time but i’d like to improve my ability to stay focused on a moment or a vibe if i can! anyway, glad you like it and indeed it is all relative. keep trying if you wanna make some ambient things. it might just take some time and experimentation to get to the place you want to get to? cheers

It’s all about you, and your creativity. It doesn’t really matter what others think. You know, like if you did or didn’t add too much or not enough of something. I also love the drone of mechanism, I personally love the sound of the window air conditioners. Kind of bassy when the compressor kicks on, helps me sleep.
