it's asking to plug in the adapter when set up file is launched. though the set up program is not able to find the adapter even though windows is detecting it (but no drivers are assigned to it).
I am trying to install the doorbell and I connected it with a 24VAC (12VA) AC/AC transformer . As soon as I power it on, 2 red LEDs around camera start blinking with some clicking sound. I tried to RESET the device as described in the installation video but no success. Can someone please help me to set it up ?
The focus of our videos will always be on our product. We often do not have access to specific ISP service or equipment so we cannot address specific ISP equipment or setup. Additionally as they service and apps can change it would make our videos obsolete. As such we will only ever focus on the TP-Link device. If you need assistance setting up the Starlink device you will need to engage with Starlink support.

Currently, each camera can be controlled or managed by only one account on the Tapo App. You can share it with 5 different accounts at most, and these five accounts can only access live view and playback features of the camera. Each camera also supports up to 2 simultaneous video streams
Yes, but its not recommended. Range Extenders extend the wireless signal but the speed is often cut in half. This is because they are half-duplex devices and can only communicate in 1 direction at a time. If range is an issue i would recommend a Mesh system.
It is designed for standard doorbell wiring. This involves a transformer which lowers the voltage to the two wires at the doorbell. As far as I understand the 10 to 24 volts at the doorbell and 110 to 120 volts at the transformer.
Mac support is complicated. With the release of OS11 Apple changed the infrastructure of the OS which made near impossible for make drivers that support MacOS past OSX.
If you are using an AP then you would keep the starlink router in routing mode and just plug the AP in. The AP would still need to be configured but that should be the extent of it.

There really is no way to do that. You can download individual clips that are caught through the motion tracking. To download large swaths of content you would have to insert the memory card into a memory card reader and copy the entire datastream on to you PC and then look for the content you are looking to review. Though without some sort of video editor cutting just 8 hours of content might be difficult.
What if someone stole our camera with SD card inserted in camera?? How to check the recording if we dont have cloud storage service which is very costly.
Tp Link Hello. I bought Tapo C225 Camera today. There is a problem. There is an edge correction problem in C225 camera. I can change this feature in Tapo C200 Camera but there is no this option in C225.

Unless your internet provider does not require a modem you will need one to complete setup. TP-Link routers do not create the service, only the wireless network that allows client devices to use the service.
Do you have the other PLC unit physically connected to the router? PLC adapters are not range extenders, even if you clone the SSID they will still transmit data through the powerline. Both units are needed for this.
I need a video converter. I have 3 sd cards with baby bedtime footage at various milestones I had hoped to access later. Now finally settled in a new home I am ready, only to find the tapo camera complaining that all the sd cards are not even formatted. Very disappointed.l that I cannot access the files.
Tapo Cameras require a SD card to be formatted before they can begin recording. If the SD Cards were used previously the format used and data will be lost.
for some reason this router wont work on asus chromebooks i setup the router to tmobile wireless internet router and it cant read any ethernet ports which means i cant get to the tplink admin page but if i run the wireless tmobile internet modem straight to my chromebook without the router it can read the ethernet port or m aybe im doing something wrong
It might have to do with whatever mode you are in. If you are in AP mode and trying to access the router's UI you won't be able to unless you set a static IP with the router's IP as your Gateway address. This is because in AP mode the DHCP server is disabled and you are getting addresses from the main router. You can try to access the router by connecting to its wireless and using the Tether app. If this is not the cause of your concern please reach out to support for assistance.
It would appear you did not watch the video fully. When dealing with Double Nat there are 3 options. Option 1 covers putting the Starlink router in bridge mode. Bridge more is where you put the Starlink router in Bypass mode, thereby disabling its Router and wireless functions and having it work as a bridge/modem to the 3rd party router in use.
The Router doesn't have a Fiber port so you would need an ONT from your ISP that converts the Fiber to a readable signal via Ethernet. You may also need your ISP to help determine how the Router's WAN should be configured. Some Fiber providers do not use Dynamic and instead have a specific configuration for the WAN

This Router is not a gateway so to use it with any service type you will need a modem, compatible with your service to be able to use it. Additionally I cannot say how this product would work in Africa. This channel is geared toward US audiences and the products discussed here are US products. For regions outside of the US you might want to look at TP-Link Global Support's RU-vid Channel or contact your local support office.
My computer doesn't normally have "wifi" as an option, I have a slower TP adapter that i use and it actually gives my PC a "wifi" option, When i plug in the Archer TX2OU, That option isn't there and it doesn't allow me to connect to any wifi. Is there a way to fix this?
More than likely that is because the older adapter has a different driver. You need to install the driver for the TX20U and you should then be able to connect with that adapter. If you have the driver installed and its not working then please reach out to support for assistance.
The android lady doesn't explain: a) what the green wire is or, more importantly, b) how to install if this is a new switch. I can't take a picture of the "existing" wires when I'm literally wiring up a new switch. And just swapping the colors in the app between off-white and pasty green is completely helpless.
The Green wire is often the Ground wire. This can often be just a exposed copper wire but also is not required. So if you don't know which wire is ground or if you don't have one you can just cap the wire on the switch and leave it not connected. I would caution, though, if you are unfamiliar with electrical wires, we do not recommend doing a self-install. instead we recommend hiring an electrician to install the product for you. This recommendation is out of an abundance of safety.
As a Client device to connect to the internet? Yes that is possible. The X50-Outdoor has 2 ethernet ports so one can be used for POE and ethernet backhaul or both can be used for clients
It's not necessarily the product. There are several factors involved in the speed that your PC recieved. You would need to troubleshoot to determine where the issue is. Please contact TP-Link support for assistance.

Unfortunately, we could not tell you. This channel is managed by the US team, and all of the videos since 2017 have been directed specifically to the US region and its products. We do not have any information for other regions outside of the US.
This does not work with with a Starlink satellite router. During installation you get a warning "permission denied" when trying to connect. What a waste of time and money.

Generally if you go into the camera's settings and then under video and display menu there will be an option for night mode. This is where you would enable night vision.
hi. i recently buy 1 of this deco. is it compulsory to connect the cat5 network to the deco so it can brroadcast the wifi? or it can connect to the current wifi router and use it automaticcally? thank you for the info
First thing to know is that Deco can only be wireless if there is an existing Deco in your network. Deco's do not wirelessly link with 3rd party routers. If you have a Deco as you main router or even in the network as an AP then there would be no reason to connect the x50-outdoor to the router via ethernet. But if you don't then yes ethernet is the only option.
No. The H200 only connects to cameras like the C400 and C420. Wired cameras like the C310 that connect directly to your wireless network will not work or communicate with the hub.
