I’ve been saving since their baby debut. 7+1 (spark) duo robin in 700 orbs for the +10. Imo duo robin is better than BFRobin and she was my first merge project so it was a priority for me.
i went all inn on this banner. I got +10 young robin in 1400 orbs, Ephraim got to +6. Robin was my goal and she is now partner with +10 Brave Felix giving nice support :)
Hey bro, I just got back to the game, it's worth chasing +10 in one those cly 8 units? It's needed to reach endgame content or I can just have one copy and be fine with that?
+10 isn't worth it anymore. Outside of scoring, you don't really get too much value out of it. If you're planning to invest, getting 1 copy of a unit and then summoning for strong fodder for them is better

It's always a relief when I see a DSH where I have every Hero on it, cause the pressure of getting someone doesn't matter as much. For anyone summoning on it Rally Up Luck+ 🐀✨ For myself, I am still burning orbs on the Yukata Banner, I'm at 5.25%, 1 more from a focus charge, meanwhile, CYL is at a lovely 9% focus charge, halfway to my 3rd spark, and since I have everyone, it's not bothering me on summons. As much as I wanna summon, Comic Con is literally around the corner, so clutch summons will be interesting into the final days!
baby chrobin hates me but loves manic :'( they refused to come home... Between the two banners I pulled 1 copy that wasn't spark in around 600 orbs lol
We're at a VERY lame point in time with the meta now. I've either been getting completely mopped in Summoner Duels if I don't get First Blood or just not interacted with at all and just beat through points(especially cause of the dumbass moving map). Regular Dancers feel pointless cause you have broken Self Dancer/Canto chatacters along with characters who either have tank stats, stupid abilities or Both. The Heidrun era was still doable for me; I liked picking up Eik but I wasn't feining for him and him aside my Myrhh were good together. But NOW I feel I actually NEED Alfonse, Felix and either New Robin OR Baby Robin on the team. Its messed up cause I told myself I need Baby Robin after losing to a team with them on it and just spent my last orbs on trying to get New Robin; then LITERALLY 3AM comes and the Babies are on the banner -_-. Mind you, idec about them for real, lmao. I kind of just want Atk/ResLink4. I.S dropping the Baby Banner tells me they know how sad they're making the meta and what they're doing with these units. When this game is good, its really enjoyable but times like these when its bad does actually make me want to check out pretty hard. Feels very weird when solid units with Start of Turn Panic Skills that theoretically should mop my opponents refuse to put in any work and instead get F'd the most in game.
Got my first Altina on the free pull (only got red and green circles lol). Since I'm majorly behind the meta on tanky units I'm thinking about dropping her into my Dark team just for her bulwark skill. Worth replacing Gatekeeper for?
I pulled for blue on my free but only got colorless and green. I went for colorless and I got a free Emmeryn! And thank god because i already had Embla! I am very very happy and if I can, I will try to oull blue for one of the 2 units. If I get Ephraim is going to be for my Brave Edelgard 😁
Trying to +10 Baby Robin. Spent 550 orbs so far for 3 Robins and 1 Ephraim. Don't know how I should feel about this. :S My 5 star rate is abysmal but it could have been 0 Robins and 4 Ephraims.
For me it's a must have, Y! Emmeryn fodder (Hortensia) and usability at the same time. B! Embla and D! Robin are excellent units, NY! Kana it's good thou, and NY! Kvasir and N! Altina are the cherry on top
ended up sparking on the banner, really wanted a baby emmeryn for fodder. Got Kvasir, Embla, and Emmeryn on the 37th summon, decided to finish up till the spark and pick up Altina as well. Very nice banner imo.
Same. she is so degenerate, I kinda hope she stays low key a little while longer because she is so broken. I still haven't given her an A skill and it hasn't mattered
When did duo units start getting abilities from both characters involved in the duo? Like the baby Robin getting the chrom extra action and duo female Byleth getting scowl because Rhea is there? Can I assume when Goldmary gets her refine in 2029, she'll get Bernies status reflecting ability? 😮
If we didn’t just get Brave F!Robin, who supports the team in much the same way as Duo F!Robin, I would have said, yes, pull for her. But now we have another way to source Hush Spectrum, and in the normal pool. If anything, and I think this comment will age well, I think Emm is the best unit to pull for here. Her ability to provide warping for the team is crazy, especially when combined with Celica’s ring. Definitely the most useful unit on the banner IMO
Agreed. I was planning to pull for Robin when she came back. But then I got Robin last week. I am conflicted about pulling just for Emmeryn, though. I'd have to rebuild my defences around her, and I'm already doing ok with my current setup.
Dang...I was hoping Altina didnt show. Welp, I'm not summoning until next month's seasonal trailer. Assuming it's Ice Tribe and Nifl is on it, I wanna be prepared. Plus Altina hurt me on the AHL banner so I'm being smart with my orbs.
i actually just did my free summon and got the lance one and got mad it was not robin. i actually caught myself getting mad at being lucky and instantly stopped myself like wtf is this mentality
Yeah it's cool you pointed that out because I knew it was him but i never played the game that featured him so to me he's just the guy with the sister. And since i'm ESL i was not sure how to spell his name. Lance one was my best bet since he's the only one.

Pekomama basically is a floating double dance unit, since smite/reposition would operate for a free move for a target ally while simotaniously giving that support ally an extra move. It's really useful. As for defense, yes absolutely. B!Alfonse with 1 +def blessing unit already cleans maps because he's so ridiculously bulky. Making dedicated blessing squad he's a surprisingly great option for defense too.
With the addition of slaying-2, when do you think we get 6/7 CD specials? Ex: 6cd "Unkillable" that is like full heal miracle but gives 20% dr prior to activation & 40% after (+ another 1-2 abilities cuz its IS)
Real fun to hear how other people approach these new units and how to work around them. For me, I find Bernadetta to be one of the most advanced units to get working, but pulling off her skills to the full potential is the most satisfying of the CYL8 batch. I use Hortensia and Legendary Claude to spread global debuffs on the enemies I face for now. The best way to counter Hortensia's passive healing is to just give her another weapon. Sunlight+/Seaside Parasol+ is a solid choice as it even has a five range Guard debuff which means that she can potentially provide the three needed by herself with the proper positioning. Easily accessible from foddering a Yuliya who is in the regular 4* summoning pool. I will look to be using Ploy skills to help make it more consistent and provide even more damage in general to better secure the kills. The lack of NC-D and vulnerability to Hardy Bearing is at least something that can be played around.
I always knew Felix was the strongest by far, but I'm probably biased because AR forced me to go galeforce so he was exactly what I needed with a meta filled with bulky green units. Alfonse is basically supercharged Alfred all over again, when ppl are going to understand that stats aren't everything? Lol, at least his fodder will make the ppl of Askr very happy.
For future counters (at least for felix), i can see having some near save armor with Shield Session 4. Grants 6 DEF/RES + X, where X is the number of times foe has initiated combat on unit (max4), If unit is attacked by the same foe during the same turn, then reduce damage from foes attacks by Y% of units DEF. Y=number of times unit was attacked 2nd time onward during the same time x3. Inflicts Gravity on foe after combat.
I had the exact same thought Oblivion brought up, that Ice tiles are a healthier version of Duo Lyon. Really hoping they don’t just put it 6 feet under like they did with Lyon though.
Felix is disgusting in ARD, and has mucked me up in arena a few times. With the celica ring, he's basically got a range of 8 (e.g. the entire map). The only thing I don't like about him is the built-in distant counter (if I wanted to run him as a tank, I'd just slap distant bonus doubler on him) and that phantom speed in his B slot (which I guess is useful for DR skill comparisons...?). Imagine how gross he would have been if they gave him extra true dmg or speed or DR piercing
The DC is underrated imo. The DC helps ensure a surrender as he's surprisingly bulky when he gets into range of your team (non tanks). He's not a free kill once he's in range. But other than that, agreed, he's absolutely disgusting with the Celica ring. Being able to just warp behind enemy lines and wreak havoc makes AR nightmarish. He's also is one of the few units to make great use of that Closed Off Castle map due to the blocks being destructible.
