album Smokin' when Lang was 14. He was signed to A&M Records in 1996.[1] He released Lie to Me on January 28, 1997.[1] The next album, Wander this World, was released on October 20, 1998, and earned a Grammy nomination. This was followed by the more soulful Long Time Coming on October 14, 2003. Lang also made a cover of Edgar Winter's "Dying to Live". Lang's 2006 album, the gospel-influenced Turn Around, won him his first Grammy Award.[4]@
Peter Frampton is an amazing guitar player! Very unique solos and he has a very distinct style. He doesn't sound like anybody else, and unbelievably, he still tours! Saw him a couple years ago and he is still just as good.
I have watched this video of Eva and heard that they are simple guitar chords. But you don't have to be a guitar "extraordinaire" to play the song. Eva understood the song and the chords that were needed to accomplished the song the way it sounded in her head, in her soul. The guitar chords she used, are the only ones needed to get the song laid..... and the point a crossed. 10+ millions records sold , proved the point...…..
Hi there. I have just found your reaction to this, oh so fantastic song. You asked about other singers, so have you seen Kasey Chambers do Eminems ,Lose Yourself. It is fire. She is a country- blue grass singer and has always been unafraid to be herself, no matter what. Maybe you have seen it by now, but it was worth a mention. Cheers from Oz.
Great reaction.....really enjoy listening to you.....Please do a So Hyang original song....STAY.....I think it's one of her best performances and no one reviews it !!!!!
"I have never heard the song. It's from Steve Vee"🙄 It's Steve Vai (!) and if you have never heard this one passing by, you'd better get rid of this podium. No offense.
His guitar sound goes through the talk-box on the floor which houses a speaker, that sound goes up the tube to his mouth which he essentially just shapes the word, and lastly out the mic to either the sound board or an amp to the sound board.
I grew up in Sydney and was maybe 14 or 15 when their hits were on the radio. Green Limousine is badass though. I used to rollerblade to it on my discman 🤣
Im sorry to hear that. Same happened to myself. I had hip issues and could no longer play my kit. It was very emotional. Something you did for 30 years then you can’t.
I love his solos in this song not always the same until those last 5 notes he plays which signals he’s done. And Susan looking at the others smiling while he plays. Magical band! Love the Alman brother band influence from Derek. Definitely with the guitar sounds and the two drummers. Amazing band! Nice reaction too! ❤
*** Tina posted her video on December 12, 2015, Steve VAI watched it on December 13, 2015 and tweeted congratulations to Tina and reposted the video on his page. And Tina S replied : "I am honored!! Thank you Mr Vai"
--Tina S interview : "For The Love Of God is a very complex piece musically, technically, structurally," she said. "Playing was a real goal, I'm very proud of its success."
