I upload How To videos for Holden Commodores (specifically VY) but try to do videos that are the same procedure across the board of other Commodores. I try to make content easy to understand and follow along with, as well as additional information in certain videos such as torque specs and tips & tricks.
If you come across anything that should be addressed in any of my videos, for example, if I missed a step, or there's a better way around it, leave a comment as your knowledge can contribute to the video and help others out in the same situation. If you also would like specific content, let me know and I'll see what I can do!
I appreciate everyone who comments, subscribes, watches, shares and reacts to my videos. Nothing better then knowing my content has helped you in some way!
Looks like it should be similar to my WK satesman, only difference seems those two bar clips are on top rather than under. But its entirely possible they are under as well. Will find out soon lol
brilliant video. my son's first car is a VZ. and it needs a replacement seat belt driver's side. you obviously know what you're doing. how long does it take? and what brand belt is a good replacement other than Holden? thx.
Just used your video to assist me, a complete novice, to take off the bumper and install a towbar on my VY commodore! Thank you so much for this video 🚗
Hi 👋, can anyone please tell me how you replace a centre seat belt from within the back seat of a VZ / VY wagon!? I know everyone gets excited with their sedans and their VE commodores 🤣 But I’m talking a VZ wagon here 😉 I got as far as the metal plate that’s pretty much welded to the seat - inside the seat! Cheers Des
Thanks for the video. I see some videos where the actuator is replaced and some videos (like yours) where the entire mechanism is replaced. In my case the passenger door lock doesn’t unlock a third of the time and you can’t pull the knob up either, it’s stuck. I’m trying to figure out if I should replace the actuator or the whole thing. Do you have any ideas? :)
I bought my first car it was a Vy commodore with 3 previous owners that had no issues other than the paint and other cosmetic issues, you’re videos helped restore this car and I can’t thank you enough
Good idea to take the oil filler cap off before taking the sump plug off to drain it quicker. Also add some oil to the new oil filter. It is much easier to remove and install the oil filter from the top of the engine bay than under the car.😁
