Thanks for the video mate. Helped me remember, there are always THREE rods to the actuator mechanism. I had to take out the door panel twice over to allow the outside door-handle rod to connect to the top push eyelet, which I thought was a design flaw. Just a few pointers I had issues with - 1. careful lifting the door panel once all the screws have been removed as there is an air-manifold to the aircon duct that can easily break due to the plastic tab to the window corner. Lift this corner air-duct out first before lifting the door-panel. 2. Have someone catch the door-handle lever pin as it can fly out and it can be re-used unlike holden manual. 3. when putting back the door panel, start from the top aligned with the window seal. but push it in about 1/2 inch and make sure the door-panel slide lever is engaged with the door scoop (a little upright scoop looking metal guide), and then push it all the way down. Make sure everything is snug up against the door, before applying the screws.

Thanks for the video. I see some videos where the actuator is replaced and some videos (like yours) where the entire mechanism is replaced. In my case the passenger door lock doesn’t unlock a third of the time and you can’t pull the knob up either, it’s stuck. I’m trying to figure out if I should replace the actuator or the whole thing. Do you have any ideas? :)

Thank you! I ended up being able to repair mine. Only thing I forgot was the rod that connects to the top inside of the door. Not bad for a chick who usually wears an apron.

I keep having problems with my drivers door actuator now I’ve replaced the old one with a new gm one and now it playing up again and won’t unlock or lock remotely but when I do it by the actual door button it locks and locks all the other doors can’t figure out why a brand new actuator would be doing this

Have you changed a actuator only from a rear door and are they different from the front?

If someone dosent have a torx you can get away with using a hex key😂😂
