re: wealth management (1:40) a good way to drop wealth is to fork over gifts to a faction caravan. Alliances don't count as wealth but they do have value: allied factions may respond to sieges and, if so, they can soak up a lot of danger. I once had allied tribals respond to a mechanoid siege and they cleaned it up before I could get out of my walls.

It might help to put a door that can be held open before your traps, so you can close it to prevent any manhunting animals from triggering your traps.

I have an idea, if you have two people with a skill that creates a hauling job (plant cut, mining, etc), you're least skilled but still capable person should have hauling at one priority higher than their main job. That way, they can, say, mine if there's mining to do, but otherwise will haul the stuff the more skilled folks have mined. Think of it like an apprenticeship lol

What is the mod that shows all the colonist details in the window at the bottom left? I know Quill mentioned it early in the series, but cant remember it.
