Hi everyone! My name is Brianna and I'm an avid reader, a collector of books and a doggy mamma. I post videos about books (recommendations, reviews, readathons and more) and I do weekly vlogs focusing on reading, but the mountains, the puppies and lots of coffee also make regular appearances.
I'm also doing Hard Mode and I'm up to 13/25 prompts completed so far, so right on track. I've been trying to make sure I get one or two read every month so I don't end up having to read 10 books at the last minute next March! :)
At least what you got so far is better than nothing. It’s definitely a good start. I’m not doing the board but I hope you’re able to fit more books in for it!
Vespertine would also be a good crossover between fantasy and horror. Also, Your Blood, My Bones is REALLY well-written if people want a dark Peter Pan retelling.
Just as a heads up, The Vacation is a really early John Marrs that was republished under a new name last year and it’s not one of his social experiments - it’s more of a domestic thriller ☺️
@@WhatVictoriaRead good to know! I enjoyed one of his traditional thrillers, keep it in the family, so there’s hope! He’s becoming a favorite author for sure!
Haven’t decided what yet, but I’m definitely reading a cozy mystery for October! There’s one on my TBR called catch me if you candy that would be very seasonally appropriate. 🎃
To be honest, I don’t even know which book I’m most excited about reading. I’m just excited about reading hopefully some more spooky books and actually getting into thrk I’m also looking for that witchy romance or just any witchy book to hit because the last few that I’ve read have not been it. I think I’m excited about reading God of the Woods because a lot of people talk highly about that.
