i am ready to take this bluebird condenser mic and throw it into the pond. I cannot get the microphone to do anything. I am using a nearstream audio interface. interface power plugged in. xlr cable from mic to interface. interface plugged into computer through usb. I seen youre using an audio 3.5mm jack but how will I use the interface with the 3.5mm jack? I am so confused. please help me lol
Hello, That’s how the mic comes in its default settings. You will need to turn on the monitoring in sound settings for that mic on your computer 👍🏾. I left instructions in the video
If it’s plugged directly into your computer and nothing happens just acquire an audio interface . It’s the best way to connect xlr mics to your computer

I ordered same microphone.i use audacity.while recording It sounds get crisp,clear and punchy with base in my headphones.but after recording latency is noticed and also voice sounds bad.(Not like the sound it was during recording in headphones).Any settings with pc ? I m using ASUS LAPTOP i3 . Please help
Do you have any eq settings activated on your PC? That could affect how the playback sounds be how it’s actually being recorded . Better to leave eq settings for playback flat. Also, if you are recording with headphones that are loud and leak sound, it could sometimes be caught by the microphone. Try recording without the monitor headphones to see if that helps with latency.
The T669 is a nice mic but very sensitive. It tends to pick up a lot of the ambient noise if you are in a quiet room, but there are some post production fixes for that which I covered in a Seperate video. The T669 has great build quality, metal construction and comes with a nice set of accessories. I feel the PM461TR has somewhat better sound out of the box but the build quality isn’t there in the same way and doesn’t come with the same type of accessories. I would weigh what’s most important to you between the two and pick accordingly. Hope this helps!

If your headphones are plugged in to your microphone you will still hear the audio even if your computer is on mute. Secondly, there is also a monitor lever for your headphones. If this slider is up you should still hear yourself as well. Hope this helps !
This is a very finicky microphone. I had no issues plugging the microphone directly into the mic port on my computer but I know many others have. The 100 % sure way to have a good an easy setup is to use an audio interface with the mic like a focusrite Scarlet solo for example. That’s the best tip I can can give for setup. I also have a dedicated video on my channel for the setup. All the best!
Great video, the sound quality is good after editing. The background noise can be removed by a Gate plugin and it brings some distortion that make it sounds more live. Thank you.

It sounds like you are just starting out. For the price and what it does. It’s a good mic for recording in general. To get your sound to the next level, it will also be good to invest some time on how to optimize the sound to your liking through quick editing techniques. That's awesome info I was trying to upgrade my sound set up with my shure microphone going from switching the plugs around every time I switch it between my pc and my phone and was looking for all the things I'll need for this set up :D
I just bought a PM500 today and it's a week out from arriving. I like the darker sound as sibilance is a problem for me. For the price it's pretty impressive in my book. Great review by the way. It made me that much more comfortable that I made the right decision in buying one. My Audio-Technica 2035 is a sibilance monster so this mic is an ear saver.
I saw the manual of this product, and realised there is a volume control on the transmitter. So it can provide extra gain, if our interface can't provide enough?
Mine will not work it will record but super quiet to the point where I can’t hear my voice and then one way it won’t record at all and another I can’t hear sound from my device
-what software are you recording to? -if you want to hear your voice while recording you would need to turn up the monitor slider on the board in the case you have headphones connected into the headphone port. -To make the recording louder you would need to adjust the large knob on the right hand side while also making sure the large knob on the left side is sufficiently elevated as well.
I mostly keep the boxes the items come in the situations where they do not come with a travel bag. There are a bunch of carry solutions on Amazon though. Just have to make sure the sizing is right and that it is secure 👍🏾
Hey! Sorry, I read your question wrong. The figine t669 has the better build quality. Soundwise, I would prefer the pm461s as the t669 is good but pretty sensitive to environmental sounds. Hope this helps.
