Ever struggle with what to say in a pitch? Or explain the work you do in a clear, compelling way?

I create videos to help you pitch and persuade and feel confident sharing the great work you do.

I’m the founder 7-Figure Fundraising, a company that trains leaders how to make pitches to ask for 6 and 7-figure donations, and the host of the 7-Figure Fundraising Podcast.

I studied behavioral science at the London School of Economics and combine what works in the real world with solid, research-based techniques. My goal is to help you pitch and persuade your customers, investors, or donors.

If you ever want to get in touch, please email me. Have a great day!

Hi there, i see that you have a course on Udemy. Imagine having a sales funnel and landing page that not only showcase your course brilliantly but also turn curious visitors into enthusiastic students. That's where my expertise comes in. I've got a knack for creating engaging online learning experiences that sell. What do you envision for your course, and how can I help bring that vision to life?

How about illustrating with a few real-world examples of this formula in action - just to flesh out the theory and make it more tangible, meaningful and memorable?
@abookmazen
@abookmazen Год назад
Here's an example that follows the structure of the provided formula. "Title: The Power of Small Acts of Kindness Ladies and gentlemen, have you ever wondered how a small act of kindness can change someone's life? What if I told you that one simple gesture could create a positive ripple effect that lasts for years? Let me share the story of Sarah, a young woman who struggled with loneliness and depression. One day, while walking home from work, she was in the middle of a heavy downpour. With no umbrella in hand and feeling utterly defeated, she stood there, soaked to the skin, on the verge of tears. Just then, a stranger approached Sarah and offered her an umbrella. He had noticed her distress and, without hesitation, chose to help. This small act of kindness lifted Sarah's spirits and sparked a newfound determination within her to improve her life. Over the next year, Sarah sought therapy, made new friends, and even started a support group for people in similar situations. A year later, Sarah's support group grew into a thriving community, helping hundreds of people overcome their struggles and find new connections. That one small act of kindness from a stranger on a rainy day ignited all of this change. So, my main point is this: never underestimate the power of small acts of kindness. They can create a lasting impact on the person you help and countless others who may be touched by their subsequent actions. Now, I call upon each of you in this room: go out into the world and spread kindness, even if it's just a tiny gesture. You never know whose life you might change for the better, and together, we can create a wave of positivity that reaches far beyond our wildest imaginations."

Trevor, did you choose to cap the range at $200k for a particular reason or was that arbitrary?
@trevorbragdon5544
@trevorbragdon5544 3 года назад
Great question Roger - That's just for the example in the video. If your top donor give $1M you could say that. Also if you didn't want to disclose how much the top of your range is you could just say "to more than $[number]" and pick a number that is lower. The key is just making sure that with whatever range you go with that the numbers and range are accurate for your nonprofit.

Hey. I liked your vid so much. I have been trying to research for a instructional vid like yours that teaches the topics in this RU-vid video! 🥼 The tip at 1:11 is my fav. Your content is similar to the channel of this awesome med student Doctor Ethan. Dr's videos are for sure knowledgable and I actually learned a lot for my school! He is the most informative med student in Europe and he explains mental health and diseases. I suggest you watch his RU-vid out and give the medical student a subscribe! ➡️ #DrEthanTips

Trevor, every year I compile all of the #givingtuesday emails - the excellent ones, mediocre, and terrible. Then I follow your exercise to analyze what I can learn from the excellent and the poor in order to improve my organization's copy and make recommendations to others. Try it this year! There is no shortage of emails you will receive.

That's a great way to do this Roger. I bet if you reached out to the top 1 or 2 emails you like the groups might even share how the emails performed.

Trevor, may I suggest you make it 6 sentences and add a photo of the child and a short quote? I've done this with success before because it personalizes the mission and makes it even less "corporate"

Hi Roger, that's a great point and addition. If your organization has stories and pictures like it can make the connection even deeper. One organization my wife and I personally support does a version of this with their thank you notes and it resonates. We usually stick the photo on our fridge for a few weeks and it reminds us how much we love the work they do. -Thanks, Trevor
